I do think you have a good stadium with decent facilities, which despite the result I enjoyed visiting. For the record I think AFC Wimbledon have also got a nice ground, albeit on a smaller scale.

I believe him, i don't believe Sparks. He forgets what he says then contradicts himself.

I’m talking about the football club in isolation . That’s not a mistake. It’s entirely deliberate. I don’t include Rupps group of companies when reading BCAFC finances. Why should we /I .?

I’ll stick my neck out. Although he would n’t have been my first choice, I think he’s the man. L1 beckons. May not make it this season but GA is the man to take us up. Feels like the best fit for years. Good times ahead!

Might not have been your first choice but he was definitely Ryan's. Even though he offered the job to someone else first. And even though GA wasn't even on his radar during the first two weeks after Hughes was sacked because he was still in a job elsewhere. And even then, when he did suddenly become available it was GA's agent that made contact to express interest in the job rather than us chasing him. But yep, definitely Ryan's first choice for the job.

First point was denied by Cowley. The second point is pedantic when Alexander applied for the job they must have only been at the first interview stage so it’s perfect acceptable to say he was the choice fromthose they interviewed

Would you think going down the road of cheap season tickets would as with ourselves generate more money for the club or don't you think you have a catchment area that could generate upward of 15,000+, it has been questioned many times on here and we still buy season tickets, merchandise, food, beer etc in large numbers compared with if we paid the going rate and had 9/10,000 in the stadium.

I'm probably falling for the same old same again with GA, but what I do always think plays a big factor and even more so the lower down the leagues you go is location, I seem to remember GA generally being a Northern based player/manager notably at Burnley, Preston, Scunthorpe, Salford and North of the border and having success, maybe/hopefully being back in an area of UK he's comfortable and familiar with may help him take to the job better than at MK.

Was also at fleetwood,so you may have a good point.I think Lucketti was also northern based during his career.

I'd like to see that, but to be honest I can't see it happening. Winkelman has been very open about this sort of thing and says that the only thing that will get people through the door is good football. He has a point too, our best attendances were in our one season in the championship and our promotion challenge a couple of years ago. Winkelman always mentions the fact there was a game a few years back where the club gave out free tickets to everyone in the MK area for the 50th anniversary of Milton Keynes. Even, then we didn't manage to sell out. There was about 26,000 there if I remember correctly.

Very much looking forward to January and seeing what Alexander wants from this squad. I think the recruitment plan needs changing massively after leaving Gent and Hughes to the task. It's been far too random.

Like our RBs in Halliday & Oyegoke, completely different players, not a chance I'd trust Oyegoke to be a full back in a back 4. Platt, Stubbs, Kelly all seem your physical defenders. Tomkinson, nobody has seen him and Odusina was supposed to be this ball player but never played that style. Ridehalgh & Richards look to have similar play but Richards is probably a notch better all-round and has more pace to him. Midfield is a all over with Smallwood & McDonald deep but probably more a ball player than the other, Gilliead is box to box, East was a tidy player but no longer here. But none are like for like so replacing one of the mids completely changes your tactics dynamic.

Osadebe is just...who knows? Walker seems to drop deep to play whilst Pattison wants to drive forward from midfield. Pointon is finding his feet, Chapman is more a cut in winger, Odour looks similar then Tulloch & Wilson look more beat the man for pace wingers. We have 2 target men in Cook & Oliver but that doesn't fit Derbyshire & Smith. Far too many players are far too different for this squad to work.

If we wanted full backs, sign them. If we wanted wing backs, sign them. If we want ball winners, sign them. Changing to the back 5 summer recruitment plan with so many still on the books that cant play that system ruined us. It seems like Hughes wanted one of every type to cover his back, but then the jigsaw was never going to fit. I get teams need variety, but a few injuries and the make up of the Hughes tactic fell over completely.

If as reported G A likes to play 433 then we have the right players to play that system two players who can play the number 10 role and a number of attacking midfielders two holding midfielders and a box to box player

That's what Hughes has left Alexander, not a bad bunch on paper but no real strategy as to how they will beat fit a formation.
