    In regards to the people banging on about his record at MK Dons. Brian Clough failed at Leeds. Despite that, hes seen by many as the greatest english manager of all time. Jose Mourinho didn't win any silverware at Spurs, yet people refer to him as the special one. These are Division 1/Premiership managers but the principle remains the same, you can't be a walking success everywhere you go. Just because you fail at one club, does not make you a bad manager. Give the man a chance

    Best of luck Graham, may not be everyone’s choice for what that’s worth (very little). He’ll get my full backing as all new managers do when they arrive.

    I don’t back those above him though, time for them to go at the earliest opportunity.

    I don’t like reading the stuff published when we make any signing, just seems like someone in the club is giving them the usual sound bites to quote.

    I bet Scunthorpe regret sacking him when they did:
    2015/16 Graham Alexander took them to 7th place in League One
    2016/17 Graham Alexander took them to 3rd place in League One
    2017/18 Graham Alexander took them to 5th place in League One before being sacked.

    Since he left, Scunthorpe have finished 23rd, 20th, 22nd, 24th and 23rd, as they plummeted from League One to National League North.

    I’m far from sparks biggest fan, but it is the correct decision. No proven successful management team are going to accept anything less than a 2 year deal, and the club wouldn’t want to offer 3 years given our track record. 2.5 years is the right thing to do

    Certainly will give him a chance. He will get my support. However it is a reciprocal situation, he has to show positive intent, provide an entertaining spectacle and hopefully start to win at VP and perform on the road.
