That's understandable given the rubbish you've had to put up with up there.

 

There’s a bit of a worrying theme developing at BD8. Firstly a player on the verge of signing gives back word the night before putting pen to paper, now a manager. I’m sure there were others but these two have found there way into the public domain. Both citing family reasons. In my opinion, I think having met Sparks they like us feel somethings not adding up and don't want to commit. Maybe they’ve spoken to friends and colleagues for their opinion, or maybe it’s been gut instinct.

You have to ask yourself why we’ve gone through so many managers when on the face of it, everything is in place to succeed. I can only think that ex championship managers come along and believe we have more budget than Sparks allows, then look at a lopsided playing squad and decide it’ll take too much and too long to get back to where they want to ply their trade. Maybe it’s time to look at managers who are used to plying their trade in the lower leagues and then as a club accept we’re the same as a Crewe, Doncaster and Tranmere but with a few more fans. I am somewhat surprised how many fans are now disappointed that the Cowleys aren’t coming, when before today they shouldn’t be touched with a barge pole….

 

Exactly why I believe returning to Lincoln is a mistake and going to Bradford was the perfect option. His last job was at League One level and he failed. Managing back in a division he knows and has been successful at made perfect sense.

How will people ceasing to buy ST’s force him to sell the club? It’s ok saying it , but without an explanation of how , it’s just “ hope” .

I can’t think of any other clubs where fans have forced the owner to sell. ( Glaziers spring to mind)

His assets run into about £100m so losing City and it going bust would be like you and me losing a £100. ( That’s not an implicit reference to our own assets lol! )

 

So, the next 3 on bookies list at Holden, Alexander & Richardson. Then it's daft names at long odds.

Probably Richardson is the best of the remaining bunch. He at least has some recent success on his CV.

 

That’s what consultants do , the issue about having a CeO with football experience has been done to death. They rarely exist sadly.

I was in the office talking to a pal of mine who is a Wednesday ST holder and he is fuming at the situation. Chansiri can't afford to keep the club afloat, but his antics are doing nothing but making the club less desirable for potential bidders/investors. He wants to raise prises again too, think Weds are the most expensive match ticket outside the prem.

Chansiri is putting £2m a month into Wednesday. He was just playing a game and proving a point to the fans.
It's an interesting one. How much can you criticise an owner who is putting in £2m a month?

 

The Cowley excuse is clearly rubbish. You don’t apply for a job and then speak to your family about it. The process is 4 weeks in. I’m not buying it.
