The club means a lot to me and a lot of other people. We also pay our hard earned money supporting the club so we (I) have the right to take it as serious as so chosen.

Wasn’t on this board in the Rahic times so I don’t know your stance . However I sent numerous emails and messages to the T&A, WOAP to get them to wake up and see what this guy was they did nothing.

Spoke to James Mason and Ryan Sparks they did nothing as well . That mess could have been avoided so much earlier if more fans spoke out and demanded more.

It’s happening again ,we are sleep walking into mess after mess and if people don’t make a stand then the club will continue to struggle and I worry where it goes.

The next appointment I am agnostic on as the real problems run much much deeper.

Look at the timing of the first statement in 4 weeks. Just a couple of hours before kick off when the following morning would've been fine. Or earlier in the day if they didn't want K. Mac fending questions about the job after the match. What most fans want is openness and a bit of honesty. If we've been given backword, then most can understand the process has to take a step back. If they're only just at final interview stage, then the delay risks impacting the form of the team even further than it is. From the outside, it looks like Sparks knows full well this must be his last chance. As such, he is being overly cautious and unsure of where we go from here, with delays potentially causing us to miss out on managers or creating uncertainty in the mind of the applicant.

There’s only one single reason the managerial appointment has dragged on for so long. The later in the season someone is finally made manager, the more the club has a ready made excuse for when we finish mid table

Sparks & co really do think the bcafc fanbase were born yesterday. Get the feck out of our club, imposter

As more than one manager has alluded to in the not too distant past, got to admit that's how it feels to me too ....

Mid table would feel like a massive achievement as it stands.

they have alluded to it usually just after they have left after failing but none of them have said what it is. Lack of cash? Interfering by above? Lack of support with back room staff?

one did mention the fact that we trained at a school but not that the facilities were poor. But that seems about it

I can only think of Grayson saying the facilities weren't Championship enough for a Championship manager like Grayson and Adams blaming anyone but Adams so not going to put too much stock in either to be honest

Not just previous managers if WOAP are to be believed, prospective ones too have apparently come in for talks and then decided to end their interest.

WW has form for this laughing at others clubs who then turn out in a miles better position than us.
Evatt and Bolton spring to mind?
but as long as we have nice food for the opposing directors and are vote high up the hospitality ratings he is happy.

hopefully he is no where near involved in decision making on a footballing front

Perhaps they've gone through the budget and seen we're capped at 35% like suggested on here. Maybe they've been told there's absolutely no more wiggle room and they've decided the budget isn't enough to meet expectations.

I seem to remember Stephen Warnock on some radio or podcast thing after he retired talking through his career and having a go at the setup. More about how professional it was training at a school, than the facilities themselves.

Remember he said something like when it rained we had to go inside because all the pitches were un-usable and saying it's not a professional look when the squad are eating and having briefings in a school canteen. Think at the time people took it more as him saying our facilities aren't good enough, but I think it was more of a professional football club shouldn't be using this.

What is idiotic about my "theory" as you put it?? I think it is quite plausible

If the hierarchy actually gave a flying feck about us fans, and kept us informed (Mr "director of communications" is silent) then people wouldn't have to come to their own conclusions would they?

Do you think it is normal and acceptable to replace a caretaker with another caretaker?? We are the laughing stock at the moment

You can only defend the club for so long, 6 years is completely taking the piss in my opinion but no problem, you do you

Warnock was only here a few short months in his last spell and it was during a massive storm and winds which wrecked the artificial pitch and flooded the training pitches. If you go down yourself you will find one of the best training facilities in the bottom two leagues. The facilities cannot be used as an excuse for poor form on the pitch. They have private eating rooms and don’t queue for school dinners. He should have been around when they had limited facilities and nobody thought to feed the players as they went home at lunchtime.

If you have a look at any of the training videos the club does, the facilities look excellent.

Fully agree, they look pretty spot on. Again though, his point wasn't having a pop at the facilities, it was how professional is it to have a club train at a school.

The problem is Sparks takes the fan base for granted and thinks he can pull the wool over our eyes, he thinks we are all lemmings who will blindly follow him over the cliff edge.

He needs to wake up and smell the coffee. Starting with a thorough analysis of the numbers that are actually attending (less away fans) rather than the numbers published. I'd guess the next home league match will be a 16,000 "attendance" but potentially less than 10,000 actually in the ground.
