    Joking aside, we need a new manager who can walk in the dressing room and get an instant impact, the players will also be underwhelmed by someone like Aidy B, get this wrong as its a potential top send us into a relegation fight

    Agreed. It better not be Trueman. I'm not sure he's contributed anything and doesn't seem to have had any impact when Macdonald has been on the pitch.

    According to a Manchester Evening News article from before the Man Utd Charlton cup tie, Holden lives in Worsley still with his family. About 3 hours away from Bristol straight down the M6. He and the family still lived there when he was at Charlton, guessing they had him in some club owned home for training days?

    Ryan Lowe had a setup like that at Plymouth, living out a club owned flat and it was either 4 days down there 3 back home or the other way around, whilst the family still lived in Liverpool. Schumacher moved down south and did the drills on the days he wasn't around.

    A random poster on The New Fishy wrote an hour ago that Danny Cowley is set to take over at Bradford City.

    I replied that wasn't the impression I'm getting.
    New manager markets are something I'd advise anybody never to bet on. One exception was when Sunderland were about to appoint Howard Wilkinson completely out of the blue. Bob Murray, our Chairman, rang his daughter at her boarding school the night before it was announced and mentioned the news to her. Some teachers at her school apparently made a little bit of money out of that.
