If it’s going to be off I hope they decide early. We got to Bradford last time before it was cancelled. This is a match I really want to see if it’s on

 

If it carries on like it is right now throughout the night as forecast, then I cannot see the game going ahead.

 

No!! We don’t want knee jerk postponements like last season where at 9am it was unplayable but by 2pm it was perfect.
I know it’s harsh for fans to travel and then find out it’s off but the pitch should be inspected at 2pm not 10am.

 

Wrexham team are already in Bradford.

I’m sorry but we do 2700 from Wrexham and lots of city fans travel. If it’s not playable before the Wrexham fans need to leave the match should be off in my opinion.
They could give us a preliminary pitch inspection to see the likelihood of the match going ahead. We like to be there early

 

The Carlisle match wasnt postponed until lunch time hardly “knee jerk”

Could never understand that if I was going to be in water its more likely I'd have a pair of jeans on, which I'd think are much harder to get out of in water.

 

Just reading the forum I'm supposedly travelling from Wrexham in the morning but weather is horrendous down here, and looking at the forecast Bradford is getting the worst of it Saturday give us plenty of warning please don't want a wasted journey. Thanks.

 

According to the met office weather it’ll be raining until 11am tomorrow. After that it could be fairly dry or very minimal rain. That leaves 4 hours before kick off for ground staff to do their work and for the pitch to drain.
Pitch inspection should be no earlier than 12pm.
Postponing this game prematurely could cost the club heavily issuing thousands of ticket refunds and loss of matchday kiosk sales.
