Agree. No idea what all this anti McCall nonsense is. At least we were entertained whilst watching his brand of football; the only light in all the stodge we have had to watch. I know we need even better than McCall but for an offside goal we would been up.

 

Agree with that. But Rhodes wasn't around for Stuart's second spell.

 

McCall would be fine as an interim manager, but his track record here and elsewhere shows that he is not the person we want for the fulltime job.

 

I don't think there is a cat in hell's chance Stuart is coming back. Why would he want to leave his position as assistant at Sheff Utd? Maybe if Hecky gets sacked and he follows him out of the door, things change, but that hasn't happened yet.

The last time he was here it was a disaster and he takes it personally when he has let the club down. I thought he did a good job second time around and deserved more backing from the Germans, but last time it was painful. I wouldn't want to see him suffer, again, if things didn't work out.

I think Stuart seems to enjoy coaching, rather than managing, best. He's done well at Sheffield United twice now.
