    Of course he has interviewed people like all appointments of the like there are preconceived ideas. When a candidate like Hughes applies who wouldn’t take it seriously and Sparks gave him enough support to succeed. Sharp at Mansfield has the support of his vastly experienced familiar Mansfield and a good budget and has yet not achieved anything. You are entitled to your opinion on him but you are just wring

    How bloody predictable, park defends sparks. Could possibly be one and the same

    One thing the last few years of failure have proven, is that a large budget gets you feck all

    Sparks is a clueless nob in regards to the footballing side of things and needs to piss off

    Yes, they can but Sparks are CEO is a no go. Let him head up commercial/ marketing not CEO. Job is far, far too big for him. We need better.

    To those demanding a director of football, who’s paying his wages? £250k with on costs, straight out of a £3m playing budget?
    Much better to pay a consultant on a short term contract to help choose a manager that fits both the club & the existing squad.
    Or we could sell Cook to Wrexham and employ a middle aged bloke in a suit to give the club vision and direction………
    Sorry but utter bo****ks, we’re in division 4, the vision is pretty simple, get out of this bloody division, then dream weave about the future direction.
