    Booing is for children. Your explanation exactly sums up its uselessness. Zero incentive for any player or team to do well.

    We're back to toxic Bradford City again for varying reasons, some justified some not. Back to being a chore rather than a day to look forward to. My lads back to University next week so it will just be me on my own, can't say I'm thrilled at the prospect.

    Agree. But at the time who plays instead? Macdonald injured or not fully fit, Gillead injured, Osadabe not the right replacement. Don’t think Hughes had an option.

    As wrote in the match thread, I also feel very uncomfortable of the cheering of his substitution. I’m not his biggest fan, we’ve not seen the return from his signing we hoped and a big part of it comes down to his first touch always been backwards - he rarely thinks forward and often there’s 1-2 more touches taken than needed.

    All this said, I don’t implore yesterdays however bad his performance. It’s now over to Hughes to deal with it amongst the rest of the challenges he faces right now

    I think we may see some changes in the next few days? I can’t see this carrying on much longer.
    It’s gone utterly stale , exaggerated by the volume of critical injuries up top RT? Not a good mix for supporter confidence .

    In saying that, did you watch Man U highlights last night…… They have gone mouldy!

    Putting his football to one side for a moment, one thing he certainly isn't is captain material. He is not a leader out on the pitch. Maybe his football would improve if he had the armband taken off him.

    I think the frustration of fans is possibly increased because he also has the armband. That and the fact he has played at a much higher level has increased the level of disappointment as we all expected and needed so much more from him. Not sure if its confidence or simply that his time as a pro footballer is coming to an end.
    I absolutely deplore the booing of individual players but for his own sake he needs to be taken out of the firing line.

    No, he is a captain but I am not sure he cares enough about us to be true captain he is.

    Problem with him he wants to be manager on the pitch as well as captain but he needs to concentrate on his own game.

    Look, he has been a poor signing and captain. That’s it really. Get him dropped and gone!

    To be fair RT all I heard, from the upper kop, when Smallwood was subbed was ironic cheering. Either way most of the fans were in unison that he should have been subbed off.

    Yeah I agree I meant the ironic cheers which I said were boos hence my wrong title. The post was in response what I thought was unwarranted abuse toward an individual player wether that be sarcastic manner or another. It's all just back to being toxic again and not somewhere I want to be watching football

    No i think most people got the gist of my post. Those who pointed out it wasn't booing, yeah your right. But I'd like to think most knew the point I was trying to make.
