Can you remember your first City home / away game?

Hartlepool away aged 13 on a football special, told my mum I was going on the team bus to see Guiseley play away at Hallam FC near Sheffield which had been my team which myself and a group of friends had followed for a 2 - 3 years home and away on a regular basis.

After getting my first taste of Valley Parade we thought it would be an experience going away with Bradford. Marched through Hartlepool by police on horse's, home fans running on the pitch to try and confront the city fans plus big Bobby scoring the one and only goal made it a day I would certainly remember.

 

Amazingly, Ces would have only just turned 30 at that point, yet he had been with us forever.
