Serious question,Can we recall him anytime we want ?

 

Its not just his goals, its is assist sand pen chances and always involved love it

 

Not until January. The only way we will recall him is if MH has gone by then.

 

Ridiculous game at home today. Won 5-3, with two disallowed goals for both sides. A certain Mr. Young scored a brace. Proper kamikaze football at times. We often flood forwards leaving only one CB behind. It's risky, but it's fun and it's working.

Anyway - that might put Young's start into some perspective. We're overloading teams and making chances.

Sadly I'm afraid that isn't going to happen.

According to the Bradford City web site we have no recall clause, he signed for the full season if that is the case a big well done, we should have learned from the Aston Villa loan of Wright having a recall claus to enable Aston Villa to sell him on.

Jake Young has today completed a season-long loan move to Swindon Town.

The forward signed for the Bantams last summer, making 12 appearances in claret and amber, before spending the second half of the 2022/23 campaign on loan at Barrow.

His move is subject to the relevant EFL and FA clearances.

Bradford City AFC would like to wish Jake the very best throughout his spell at Swindon Town.

Here's what I posted in the Grimsby thread after getting home and watching your game against Sutton.

I watch Swindon's game against Sutton and they were a delight to watch going forward and just the opposite defending, their 6 league games so far this season have yielded 31 goals great for a neutral.

 

Speaking recently, Hughes remained non-committal as to whether City would take advantage of a recall clause on Young that could potentially be activated in January

He commented: "We'll see. It's about circumstances. We don't say yes, we don't say no

 

Isn't it standard though Broncs, that the parent club can recall in Jan when window opens back up?

 

As a parent club loaning out a player, the club does this for 2 possible outcomes, first outcome objective is they do it to cover the wages of said player.
Second outcome objective is said player finds his form and increases his value thus benefiting parent club

 

I think we can recall him if we wanted to in January. However, if MH is manager I doubt he would return amicably. Lots of water to flow under the bridge before then.

 

I was under he same impression as many and thought it was till January then a further 6 months if the loaning team wanted to continue until I looked at a few articles with regards Youngs loan, even wiki says its a loan for the full season but then when I read the official City website it looks like it is the full season, not that I believe he will be returning certainly not as long as Hughes is at the club.
As @Interested Bystander has liked your post I'd think you could be correct Interested Bystander knows his stuff with regards the game.

 

See you posted the above at 3:22am this morning, I know it was a dire game but I can still usually get a good nights sleep even after a horror show or were you and Phil out night clubbing .

 

Would love to be able to say yes to your latter point, but our days of all night clubbing are a distant memory Unfortunately, I couldn’t sleep for the heat. Or it could have been the “The nightmare of Valley Parade” was plaguing my sleep.

 

Seriously it could only happen to us playing a 100 year old forward up top while one of OUR players is banging them in for fun at another club

We haven’t scored 5 goals in a league game for many years and you’ve done it 3 times already this season.
Give me adventurous risky football any day over the torturous stuff we’re watching at the moment.

 

Season long loan is standard and means nothing. If there is a clause only Bradford and Swindon know.
