I would if it was that easy so I wouldn't have to sit with folk who are happy to be a bog standard league 2 side

So your happy for this current shite to go on ???? Your saying that the thousands that pay good money to see them at home and the thousands that regularly sell out away games should sit there and put up with this crap ????
It's a fooking joke that a club of this size continues to piss around at this level ......... how many years did it take Bolton to get out of this league with there financial mess ????
Was it one ????? Similar clubs of our size have dropped down and got out within no time.Still hey if your happy for this to continue then so be it but give me fans who have ambition that want the best for his club over someone whose willing to put up with any old crap.

If you choose not to go because you hate the product on show then I understand that viewpoint. No on should chastise you for 'not being loyal' likewise you shouldnt tell others they are wrong for not doing the same. If it's not for you move on, you'll find something else to do with your time.
The 'losing fans' theory is a bit of a misnomer, the support now as a bottom division club is unprecedented despite 5 years of league 2 dross. The club has hit on a method that works regardless, this notion of losing thousands of season ticket holders simply isn't true. It can't be, the ticket sale numbers are fact, it can't be argued with.
We may well lose some but then a fall off percentage is factored into every business that has members. But it certainly won't be thousands, that's where the beauty of the cheap season tickets comes in, it entices you back.

Nobody's happy about it Gaz, as you well know. Not everyone feels the need to blow a gasket about it though.

For how long will it entice folk ???? I mean I think sales did well on the back of a top 7 finish and let's be right season ticket sales went off sale when it looked like we would be promoted.
Rochdale away when it seriously looked like it could happen............ had they put the sales on after the seasons end then I think you would have seen a drop.
They did a clever ploy last term in the way they did it ........... if we are looking like we will finish mid table then I very much doubt they would pull the same trick again.

Maybe your right I don't know but when fans from.others clubs seriously cannot believe we are at this level still !!! Then there is something wrong . I don't know if you went to Morecambe but that was enough to send anyone raging :( I simply don't care if we lose if the manner and effort is there but that was a disgrace and an insult to every person that went there and Hughes needs to wake up and realise what he's got backing him. Simply go out and try and win games and simply go after teams and he will have the lot of us back behind him.in a breath

Unless we have a disaster of a season (we won't) then ticket sales won't go down drastically no matter which division we are in next season. I'd expect a drop but it will be in the hundreds not thousands.

We first started the cheap season ticket sales 2007 think it was around the 13k it was around the 9k mark 5 years later ...........now I'm not saying it will drop that much but eventually it will start going down and I bet you any money had they stopped the sales a week after the Carlisle game then there would have been a big drop.I know it's only £200 but that's still a lot of money to fork out if you don't care ............the club have been fortunate that folk have bought into the idea that this will be our season only a matter of time before folk simply give up on it

Something is different now. I can't quite put my finger on it but it reminds me of the time i went to see the Bulls play Cougars in a friendly prior to the 1995 season starting and nearly 8,000 turned up. People want to be at Valley Parade, this despite how bad last season was if you listen to some of the fan base. It could well be that numbers drop but i'm 99% sure they won't, Sparks won't allow it to happen. His reputation and future job prospects elsewhere are built on what he does here, he has no CV elsewhere to speak of. And we're only 4 league games in, plenty of time to get back on track, wether that be with Hughes or any other manager.

Do you want to provide a link to that then? Instead of just saying I'm wrong.
When we have a “bog standard” L2 budget with “bog standard” L2 Squad its sort of expected that we become a “bog standard” L2 side.
Tell me, by what process does “moaning” or “whinging” drive the club to do better? Bolton had a higher budget than we ever did so were able to sign good players. So how come everton are so poor? Are you genuinely suggesting that the fans are at fault for *checks notes* “not moaning enough”? Give over with this nonsensical drivel.
Never said lay off Rahic, Rupp was given some constructive criticism regarding his tenure and was rightfully given his marching orders.

there are some absolute bottom dwellers on here that have 0 clue what nuance is.

“Hur dur you saying nonconsecrative criticism is bad that means you think rahic was good!”

Even though objectively his stint was bad..

Im not being blamed for the failings of the club nor being insulted to that extent. You encapsulate everything wrong with this forum that tries to pit fan against fan.

i hand my season ticket in the club is still shit. Stop being nasty and blaming fans for the club being where it is. Especially when we have a L2 budget and L2 players.
Do you think your ramblings in the morning will suddenly make rupp stick out an extra £2m to the budget? Massive delusions of grandeur from yourself and for the club.

Do you think if you moaned harder, maybe had a one man “fan” protest against the stockport result we would have won against morecambe?
    If not why?

    https://www.bradfordcityafc.com/news/2016/may/club-confirms-season-ticket-plans-for-1617-campaign/

We are delighted to announce today (Friday 13 May 2016) that thanks to the success of this season's ticket prices, the Club will keep exactly the same prices for next season (2016/2017 campaign) regardless of division (although they will not be on sale until AFTER the play offs.)

Phil Parkinson and his players are, of course, still hoping for promotion to the Championship after finishing in the Play-Off places but the decision has been made to release the news now, irrespective of promotion or not. This had been done as a thank you to the fans who bought in huge numbers last summer and hope to even surpass the 18,000 sold for the 15/16 season.

    hot damn.

Or hope the people who run the club get one managerial call right every couple of decades, speaking from experience.

Never had enough brass to buy the club unfortunately.

I can't get a blood transfusion for the Claret & Amber blood that runs through my veins;).

It makes no difference how 'happy' you think people are, and it makes no difference how 'unhappy' you pose.

Fans being upset for a few games doesn't stop them buying season tickets. It's a fantasy.

I just want to be clear, I am not actually suggesting that moaning harder will do anything to improve the clubs position. I am just trying to point out how daft it is to suggest the fans are the reason we are in League Two!
