It's not "one home game" for me. It's 18 months of exactly the same performances, home and away.

it should not matter if its 1 fan 100 or 100,000 in the ground, the manager and player should be at least trying to win games for the whole 90 or whatever length of time the match last. Not this crab football and hold on to a 1 goal lead for half an hour.

Just looking at the T&A today,it’s like Parker rubbing the defeat in the face of Hughes We have nearly a full page on Adams With a headline City could not deal with Morecambe and a side paragraph on Young at Swindon and his performance at Wrexham.

 

No, but if I hadn't renewed I'd have lost my seats around family and friends.

I renewed feeling the "new season" sense of optimism but after a few friendlies and 4 of the 5 competitive games I've seen absolutely no evidence of change.

If you have, good on you, I genuinely hope we smash Crewe 5 0 and I miss out on a great game.

 

These are all reasons why the 'we will lose loads of fans' arguments don't work and aren't true.

I'm not saying all is great or anything, but we also don't need to pretend it's an apocalypse. It's just a bit shit.

 

People have been saying this for YEARS.

we have more season ticket holders in L2 than when we were in L1 explain that one fella.

 

Its just people trying to justify whinging. If they are really bothered about us being a perennial L2 club they can either

1. buy the club
2. Go support man city

 

Mint! Buy the club, support Man City or celebrate being an average league 2 club with no prospect of promotion?

Fixed your original post as I said absolutely nothing about "celebrate" being in League Two.

 

I never said my support is subject to success but I'll gladly have a moan if we stagnate or go backwards. Are you saying that nobody should ever criticise or get frustrated with the direction their club is going in? Seems a very odd position to take.

 

when its actually valid and constructive, no.

such as Smallwood had a poor performance, the second goal was caused by him losing the ball and he looks down the ground and raises his arms instead of tracking back or winning the ball back. Hopefully Hughes can motivate him or drop him for a few games so he can come back at full mental strength.

Constructive Criticism.

When its moaning about how we are going to get relegated, how we are going to lose season ticket numbers or going around blaming Rupp, Sparks, Hughes, Smallwood ad nauseam on a witchhunt for being in League Two when we have League Two players and a League two budget.

you do realise constructive criticism is objective not subjective as well? I.e it has nothing to do with my opinion/feelings.
