Sorry I still disagree our fans are no worse that any other clubs, yes we see things differently but as I posted if we get 1,200 to 1,500 at Shrewsbury after what our club went through since December I'll say that being loyal.

Port vale are putting in a bid for a striker, I wonder if it's Alex Jones who did well for them on loan and wanted to sign him permanently but we beat them to him.

 

Sorry I disagree Bronco people make it sound like coming is a chore.we had a bad patch last season sowhat we are fans. I said before owners managers and players come and go. Supporters follow the club through thick and thin and at this club it cost practically nothing to do so.

 

Totally agree. It’s like those that slag off Richmond....I don’t remember anybody criticising him at all up until the summer of 2001 when we got relegated from the premier league. Now we’d have a shed load saying they knew all along he was making huge mistakes and didn’t like the way he ran the club. Like those who rate the stewardship of the Rhodes family even though they were part of Richmond’s “6 weeks of madness” and oversaw the navigation of he club from premier league to 18th place in league 2. Or those supporters that hold David Wetherall in some god like status despite the fact he’s the most unsuccessful player in the history of the club, nice guy maybe but I’d prefer a winner than a loser captaining my team.

BCFC fans are no more fickle than at 91 other premier/ football league clubs.

The best laid plans and all that. I think in lower league football, you need a big man up front at times and we only have Kai at the moment

Extra Width - Adam Hammill
1 more Midfield Strength - Lund or someone in Lund mould.

 

I think we needed a striker before Wyke went, so we still need another for me.

Don't think we particularly need a big man up top - it's a dieing art in modern football and we're moving on from that now in any case.

Doyle is decent enough in the air and can hold the ball up - that'll do.

The season tickets might be cheap, but once I factor in travel, beers and a bit of food it comes to about fifty quid per match.

If the players serve up dross, as they did for several months last season then I've got things I'd rather spend my money on. It was different when I didn't have a family, but now I'm not going to sit and watch rubbish because I support Bradford City. Hopefully, we will see much better this season, as we appear to have recruited well.

But to me supporting a club to me is more than results it’s about meeting up with friends you have known for years and just being there. I was talking to a women in Filey the other day who is a supporter of Pickering she was telling me who goes all over following them. I asked why she did she replied because it my club and in my blood. She was like many other people up and down the country who follow and some help run what they regard as their club which is the way I look at it.

Yes I can see where your coming from, in our case (and I'm sure many more) that was always the situation, there is no doubt cheap tickets give us the sort of crowds we've had since Juilan implemented them, but I stand by my comment 1.200 to 1,500 at Shrewsbury would be a great turnout given the last 6/7 months.

 

Happy with the Doyle signing but we still need another top forward.
