It said there were 300 tickets at 9am, now it says sold out.

 

They are back on sale, I've just got one myself.

 

I'm passing on this one and I'll be off to Morecambe instead as I can "legally" watch this one on ifollow so that covers both games. Especially as I'm working till 6pm that day.

 

Managed to get 7 for this but didn't have my missus lad on friends and family as this is his first ST so I've missed out for him. If anyone has a spare they are willing to sell, junior or adult (he's 17), please can you give me a shout.

My son and grandson were 10 points short for tickets. We have Stockport friends so they make a day of it. Same here if anyone has a couple of spares they don’t want or can’t use let me know.

Not sure if the the points level holds after being declared sold out but last season I got a Salford one from the ticket office (it was a return) by emailing a couple of days prior to game. Was told they had a few returns. Went down, picked one up, no problem. Hope you all get sorted out.

Fraid not. Missing Colchester as well as we are in Whitby for the weekend. Know any good pubs in Whitby ? Marble Arch was a good recommendation for Manchester

We used the railway end for home fans towards the end of last season when demand for home tickets peaked with the run in, not quite sure why we're doing it this early in the season when you had the railway end & a bit of the popside when you came to us last season in October? Slightly reduced allocation for you which seems daft as you're without doubt the biggest side in the division & always bring a decent following. On the plus side at least you're under cover, our railway end is to be frank, absolutely shite! There's plans for redevelopment but we've now been told it's conditional on reaching league 1, Open air stand which doesn't lend itself to a good atmosphere, you brought a good following last season & as I walked up to the ground past the away turnstiles I could hear you lot making a bit of noise & thought it's going to be a buzzing night atmosphere wise, but unfortunately once in the ground the noise just doesn't carry from that stand, didn't help that both teams contributed to a 0-0 snooze fest so here's hoping it's a bit more entertaining this season!

 

Thanks for the input @Animo et fide maybe the behaviour of some of our traveling fans has raised concerns with your club and possibly the police and who can blame them, its been quoted a few time on here with regards away allocation being reduced, if that is the case as usual the majority are punished for the minority.

 

That could be a possibility Bronco. Fans of a certain age will certainly recount tales of a few feisty encounters between us in the 70's & 80's! but as far as I'm aware there was no mither last season at our place between us & with the game taking place midweek again. I would say that lessens the potential for any trouble over a Saturday game. Most clubs have an unsavoury element within their support, unfortunately we have our fair share for a smallish club, you know the sort, all dressed up in their best hoolie clobber but looking like they still do a paper round! One thing that puzzles me is that our club tried to introduce a 3 category pricing scheme this season, we complained & they knocked it down to a 2 category scheme. I would of thought that Bradford would of been in the higher category for us with the numbers you bring but apparently not. I think it's just a case of our club somewhat over optimistically thinking we can fill the railway end with home support, we may well do but I'd be surprised to be honest, even though our gates have gone up healthily in the last few years August is usually a funny month with it being the holiday season & so early in the season. Gates tend to build as the season progresses in our case.

 

Unfortunately I can't give you a definitive answer on that Bigrod, I usually walk to the ground (slightly inebriated!). On the odd time I have driven I usually try & park down the side streets of Edgeley but it's pot luck on finding a space. You could take your chances in the area you mentioned, it's unusual to see a traffic warden after 6.30pm in most places.
Our club have a deal with the big NCP car park at the station for discounted parking (think it's £3) It's sounds a bit of a faff as you have to download an app & register, it's aimed at home fans but I see no reason why you couldn't be a fan from outside of the borough There's details of what to do on County's official website ( news section 2nd page).
