    I notice there has been no confirmation of this in T&A or from BCFC.
    Hope it is not someone's idea of a sick joke.

    Death notice in T&A today, so it was correct all along.
    Died on 25th June.
    Very sad news, RIP Karl.

    Really sad news as I remember him well playing for us. A great servant to the claret and amber. As I am the same age as him it really brings it home that we are not here on a trial run.
    Maybe my old brain and poor memory are befuddling me but I am sure I played against Karl when I played in the Bradford County Amateur league way back in my playing days? I know I played against Greg Abbot when he was at Guiseley (as I was playing central mid he tore me a new one!)... Can anyone else confirm Karl did drop down to Bradford teams in the Amateur leagues?

    Came back to BPA for the 92/93 season so it's possible. Doesn't seem to have had much of a career after he left us, anyone know if he had a bad injury ? Funeral is at Scholemoor, so I guess he must have stayed in and around Bradford.

    It wasn't when he was at BPA that I thought I'd played against him? Maybe he was coaching a lower league team. Just thought I remembered back in the day being excited as a city fan and playing against him?
    Definitely played against Abbo in a cup game though.. my one true claim to fame. Never got near him or laid a glove on him.
