    Really liked that kit from 72/73 , but the change kit of all amber with claret trim was even better.

    I had a look and found this as well which I really like. Love the Colosseum at the bottom of the shirt. It just looks stylish.

    All of those Motherwell kits look decent and totally put our new offering to shame. As Bronco said above if we needed an alternative to stripes the all Claret with an hint of Amber kit from the early 70's would have been much better. Could do with getting the 'Well kit designer signed up!

    Thing is they don't have the challenge that we have in being tied more to stripes so they can be more creative.

    If we went more than two years without stripes of some kind their would be mutiny in our fan base.

    I think all black as no black in home kit and didnt have all black last season.

    3rd one tricky as keeper kit is blue and we just had a 3rd blue - maybe we go grey/silver again.

    The thing I dislike is the collar. A standard polo shirt collar tends to lose it shape very quickly.
    I also don't think white is the right colour. Any of the three claret/amber/black would have looked better in my opinion.
    They could have done a ‘bomber collar’ perhaps in Claret and Amber stripes which would have looked good.
    Shot below is an example of a bomber collar. Quite like some of the Motherwell collars.

    Christ, it’s a bloody kit for gods sake, don’t like it, don’t buy it. First it was Wrexham who plenty on here were knocking one out over, now it’s sodding Motherwell

    The reason we’ve got a white collar and white shorts, is because we’re celebrating 120 years. Next year we’ll be celebrating 121 years and back to stripes.
