    How is that being negative? It's stating a fact. If Crichlow had signed yesterday rather than Taylor, you would have seen a completely different reaction here and on twitter.

    These are things that we need to challenge and change if we did not improve, yes I'm old fashioned and believe giving defenders the responsibility of marking their opponent. if the opposition player your marking scores from the free kick/ corner it's your responsibility, instead of when an opposition player scores they all stand with their hands on their hips or this do this..... alan-partridge-idk.gif

    Were not a big club according to you, make your kind up, we don't own our ground we doing own our own training facilities and the only reason we attract 17/18,000 is because we have cheap season tickets.

    Hughes/Gent and Sparks have a lot to prove Bronco - we lack quality, pace, excitement and through no fault of his own Ash doesn’t really deliver on this front.
    Hughes in particular has to improve this coming season if he wants to keep his reputation intact - he's had a season and a bit to get in a position to deliver. I am honestly yet to be convinced by him and his ability to really manage - great player and good bloke but that's not what we need right now

    Unfortunately that’s the big worry slow negative tactics boring which I can put up with not effective which I can’t none or very little pressing I would love to think it will all change this season but I very much doubt it

    As much as I liked Crichlow, we did seem more solid with Platt and Stubbs together.

    So no problem bringing in another old fashioned 'stopper' of a centre half in with Taylor.

    He defines it by the amount of money, over and above normally generated income, that the owner is prepared to put in to prop up/ bend ffp rules with.

    Basically he defines duchess by how much a club is prepared to cheat to achieve success.

    Agree with @Super bantams@Super bantams

    I see the signing of Ash Taylor as more akin to Niall Canavan or Michael Nelson. Both tall Centre half's who despite their relative experience and aerial ability, struggled against mobile forwards.

    Lets hope my anxiety is unfounded.

    He may well have been, but I still think he was slow. They conceded 53 goals, ten more than us.
    I honestly would really have liked it to work out for Niall at City, but there are reasons it didn't and a big factor was his speed and ability to recover when turned.
