Don’t think we can sell more than 15k, as after you include maximum away allocations we have to leave 5k for matchday sales, local initiatives (schools, communities, refugees etc)

I'm sure they'll go back on sale over the summer at £300. I think the short term offer was to maximise the impact of the play-offs.

Whats the cap then? I imagine it can’t be much more than 15k.

Mmmm never heard that one before. Source (or ketchup)?

We already have around 3,000 capacity for ‘away’ supporters in Block F&G of the Midland Road and TL Dallas.

The nominal full capacity of VP is 25,136. That would leave around 7,000 unsold seats.

I agree with the max of 15.000 otherwise it would cause issues for Wembley 2024 if we only got a 30,000 allocation and had to say it couldn't be two per season ticket !!! HA HA HA HA HA HA

I think they'll keep going. We can revert to two blocks of the Midland Road stand for away allocation if necessary.
I don't think there is a minimum allocation for away fans in the league, but I maybe wrong.

    35.3 Facilities for visiting supporters

35.3.1 Each Club must make provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club’s certified capacity, if less than 2,000.

Thank you. So the minimum we can offer is 3 blocks of MR stand? Maybe 4 blocks.

Capacity of the MR is 4,500 in 7 blocks. If they are all equal in size (and I think there is some small variation) then it is 642 per block. You would have to give four blocks to the ‘away’ supporters with the fourth having the ‘divide’ so losing say half its capacity, but it would be over 2,000.

I think each block of the MR holds roughly 650 (4.5k in 7 blocks if I'm right) so 3 blocks of there. From memory the Bradford End used to hold 1.8k but I don't know what the current capacity is.

Either way it's annoying as the BE on it's own isn't quite enough and to give 3 full blocks of the MR would mean moving all fans that currently use the half of E block available to us, and some of those in D, in order to keep that segregation line.

I hope they never repeat what we did on Sunday, unless it's giving a team the whole MR, given I've sat in my seat in B block since it opened!

I've just been down to collect my Carlisle tickets and bought an ST while I was down there for the missus' lad.

I'm assuming it's just an error on the website?

Nonsense. We sold 18000 season tickets in 2015-16.

There's no cap on season tickets (bar the allocated away end). Club could sell every seat as a season ticket if they chose to.

I’ve never known anything so daft as to suggest we’d cap how many season tickets we’d sell. Turn down guaranteed income to allow floating fans to pick and choose if they want to come?
So long as we reserved the minimum away allocation then we’d sell every seat in the house if we could!

I do agree with your point of view but there's a niggling doubt that I think I've read somewhere that a very small allocation does have to be retained for "walk ups".

I'm certainly not betting on it but in the back of my mind there's something in the FL rules that clubs have to allow a small number of tickets to be available for every game.

You'd certainly lose your bet! ;)

There is no EFL limit on the number of STs which can be issued by a club subject to capacity constraints of course! The only exception is the requirement to provide 2,000 seats (or 10% for grounds with a capacity of less than 20,000) for the away fans.

Whether a club decides to hold back a number of seats for walk-ups etc on matchdays is a commercial matter for the club but I've never heard of that at VP. When we buy our STs every year have you ever seen a part of the seating plan greyed ouy and kept back for walkups?

Might not be against any league rules but the Club Charter does say the club will make available tickets on a match by match basis as well as season tickets. Fair enough the Charter is out of date as it talks about priority membership but the availability of match by match tickets is in there
