Away Ticket Fiasco vs Carlisle

Annoyingly I travel to away games with people who would insist on sitting here if that’s what was written on their ticket.

 

Probably a better view if Adams or Bowyer were manager.

Not sitting in an allocated seat isn’t Bournemouth beach in 1990 loyal . Relax

I wasn’t referring to sitting in unallocated seats so I’m fully relaxed thanks x

 

I am now relying on getting tickets through one of the players. last resort was going to go in home support but not sure if you could still get tickets and not sure if i would take 6 year old to home fans .

 

Let’s hope those that get in the home end act responsibly because the last thing the club needs is more off field trouble

 

Ah the days of stifling your celebrations in case you blow your cover. Great days.

 

Virtually an impossible challenge, which I was unable to meet at Middlesbrough first away game in the Premiership when up steps Saunders in the final moments, let’s say relieved to have tickets in the players bar!!

 

Their capacity is stated as 17,949. @Bluebry is it looking like a sell out from your end?

 

They had sold 8k by late Sat?

 

Then it all kicked off. Chesterfield, Stockport, Bury, Halifax immediately spring to mind.

 

Kind of reminded me of an experience years ago at Leeds.
Since I was working in Yorkshire I decided to go Bell End Road with a few work mates (all Leeds fans) to see Carlisle play.
Went in the Kop which in those days was all terracing, kept quiet for the most part until.....we had a small tricky winger called Alan Shoulder, he suddenly popped up on the left wing ran at their statue like defenders, got to the edge of the box and then rifled it right into the bottom left hand corner. Completely forgetting where I was the old arms shot up in the air quicker than Tony Adams would say 'offside', realising what I had just done, I kind of casually put my hands on the back of my head, which was followed by a pair of hands coming down on my shoulders. Then a voice came into my ear and said "for f----- sake shut up" I turned around and thankfully it was my mate who was standing behind me (he was wearing a Leeds scarf) all I saw behind him was these thousands of pairs of eyes all staring at me!!!!!!!!!! Thank god he was there as I don't think I would have been alive to tell the tale.

 

If you have a 6 year old, just watch it on the TV.

 

Capacity is around 16,500 (I think)
Home ticket sales are around 10,000 but they have stopped selling online tickets unless you have previously bought.
Think we will sell around 12,000 by Saturday, could be more, however with it being live on telly I very much doubt it will be close to selling out. I do know a lot of people were waiting to see what the first leg score was, so there could be a few more shifted yet.
