It's strange how some ex players take to co-commentating like ducks to water Filipe Morais, Gary Jones, Graeme Tomlinson etc yet others like Chris Kiwomya and Ian Ormondroyd can't put a coherent sentence together.

 

Think you are mixing up the Kiwomya brothers, there. No idea what Chris is doing now.

Kiwomya ain't no Tony Delahunty ( Pennine Radio) as was.
Now he was a pleasure to listen to and he certainly knew his stuff about Bradford City.

I find him tiresome in the way he's another who has a glass 'half empty' approach to our results and performances.

Morais and Jones are noticeably more grounded - realising that L2 is attritional hell and so they don't get so emotional about disappointing results.

Take his comment about Mansfield. You'd think they'd won their last six, instead of a team that got outplayed by Grimsby who have a manager that a lot of their fans would cheerfully get rid of.

I like Morais the best. He gets its. I thought his early criticism of Adams, not getting what our club is all about, was harsh - but in fairness he was spot on.

 

Filipe Morais and Gary Jones are bloody par excellence as summarisers, so on top of tactics, letting us know what players think and how and why they make the decisions they do. Andy Kiwomya not so much so, but I love his enthusiasm. Yes, he trips over his words sometimes but he does come up with some good insights now and again and is a very likeable, Bradford City-loving personality.

 

I like Andy, when I've worked out what he said the following day, I often agree with him.

 

He's has got more negative towards the team since he came back after he spell on the coaching team than he was before. A cynical person would say he is bitter about not being kept on by Hughes.

Why would Grimsby fans want rid of Paul Hurst?

He got them promoted back to the league and has stabilised then I'm their first season back.

 

Someone needs to put him in his plaice. Otherwise he’ll continue to flounder.
