I think we need to stop preaching that we are a massive club on the back of 20k crowds who quite honestly are only there because of cheap tickets.
A big club or even mid sized club would sell out Gillingham , Walsall and Newport within days of tickets going on sale, especially at this stage of the season in our league position.

That’s exactly what we are, a league 2 club who get over inflated home crowds due to cheap pricing.
There are clubs in league 1 who would sell their entire away allocation for every game. We won’t even if we go up.

 

Do you ever stop bloody whining?

 

All those criticising the away take up for Walsall seem to be ignoring the fact that at the time tickets were on sale, and indeed even now, there has been a lot of talk about a big freeze, and that the match was likely to be called off. This could well have impacted the ticket sales.

 

I’m not whining, I’m agreeing with @vin weasel that taking 600 fans 2 hours down the road is not indicative of a massive club

 

I think most people say we're a big League Two club who can compete in League One.

I'm not sure anyone thinks we're Sunderland, though, so I don't see why it matters.

There are plenty of small League One clubs with paltry attendance levels, and we should be able to out muscle them if we go up.

 

Only thing not taken into account is with it being collection only many might just suck up the extra £2 and pay on the gate , so numbers could swell.

 

It's hardly unique to Bradford City, I bet you bellyached about the 20,000 or so extra supporters we took to Wembley twice in one season.

And as your above Bradford City will get more revenue with regards fans watching it on ifollow than they do with regards selling away tickets ching ching win win

 

Who cares (apart from you two) go to Walsall sing your hearts out and bring back three points, stop bitching about what other fans should do, if you're happy to go to the likes of Walsall, Swindon, Crawley, midweek great good on ya but do stop having a go at fans who don't or can't for what ever reason.

Out of them three, I see Grimsby as the most dangerous and hope they're still in the FA Cup - because as we know there's nothing like and extra ordinary L2 cup run to ruin your league form!! But they're not a bad team, led by an impressive manager.

Carlisle. Apart from that terrible three game sequence, culminating in the December Carlisle defeat - we've largely done very well against our rivals and I'm confident of a win.

 

I agree. That's if it was actually 2hrs away. Clearly you don't drive around the M60 and down the M6 during the week - it can take 2hrs to Stoke sometimes.

Just because some big clubs perhaps have bigger support than us, doesn't mean to say we're not one.

Every rival fan I talk to always comments on our effervescent away following. But it's not going to happen on a Tuesday night miles away, when the train service is as dodgy as it currently is.
