I never suggested anything akin to him being signed AT ALL. Read my post again.... it was about comments being attributed to Wilder and ambiguous they were.!

Whisper it quietly norm, I absolutely agree with you. We were bang in a false position at the turn of the year. The fall was coming for weeks before it happened, the only surprise for me was the depth of it. The home defeats to Plymouth and charlton started it for me.

Is Riley equally as accomplished at LB? If not we still have one of Chicksen or Wood at LB who aren't good enough. If Riley can fill in there, then a back 5 of O'Donnel, Riley, O'Connor, McGowan and Mellor looks really good on paper. Add to that a midfield consisting of Payne, Akpan and Scannel and we are just a good quality striker away from a near perfect starting 11.

Don’t kin much about him. What type of full back is he?

Does he get a nose bleed if he goes over the half way line (ala Darby) or is he an attacking fullback?

 

6 foot 3 very attacking full back can play rcb in a back 3 too

 

It would be a good signing but an odd one if Riley isn't an accomplished LB. Otherwise we have chosen to prioritise the strength of our bench rather than the weak link in the first 11 which is Chicksen.

 

Would be a very good signing if this comes off. I see he chipped in with a few goals last season too and was rates one of the best full backs in leavue 1
