We did a good job of trying not to concede throw ins and corners. It resulted in us keeping the ball in the middle of the pitch a bit too much for my liking. I'd much rather we sorted that god awful zonal marking. Every team knows our tallest four players stand on the six yard box. A bit of outswinging corner practice and some tall players running at the ball and we're in trouble. That's how they scored today anyway

If it 's right what Hughes said in his latest interview Critchlow will be out 7 to 10 days with his eye so he'll defiantly miss the Tranmere game and if Stubbs puts another second half performance in it might turn out to be a couple of weeks before Critchlow will be deemed fit to resume, but a nice situation to be in not having to rush the lad back.

Then again, there's a very subtle difference between the diamond and 4/3/3 as the latter often ends up as a flat diamond!!

Wouldn't be surprised that with the likes of Clayton and Smallwood, Hughes let's them make subtle shifts as the game progresses on the field.
