the glue and clamping process that he suggedted out of the box, seems to have gone ok, just using some electrical safe plates adapted for the job across the piece, belt’n’braces. It might not work as it was quite the split, but it’s worth a go, before I go scrounging/pinching some timber from either a job or a joiner and begin fashioning the bespoke, angled piece. You’re still a man of leisure if you are offering?
