Angols decision to dive then commit a daft foul just the icing on the cake for another lack lust attacking display. Banks looked electric in the first half, can't remember a touch in the second.

We've built a big squad and it almost seems Like Hughes doesn't really know how best to use it yet. Long way to go, but lots of improvement needed.

The way to get us to shoot on sight is to play Cook and Harratt.

Oliver is a dreadful signing and we lack bite and that will to win. Losing regularly in the last second is a complete lack of character. Once is bad enough but to lose two successive away games in injury time is a disgrace. We are an ordinary mid table outfit.

Angol seems to play the game like we're 4 nil up. Saunters around, does a few step overs, then passes the ball backwards while running off to nowhere. I've seen him do it so many times - he just lays off the ball with no conviction, like you see Man City do when they have already beaten the oppo. Is he hoping for some "Ole, Ole" when he's playing? You're doing this when we aren't winning the game you f¤¤king muppet!

Back to the drawing board. What I’ve seen so far this season leads me to think we’ll be mid table at best if this continues. You can have the possession you want if you can’t create chances. It’s all far too predictable and far, far too slow.

    Taxi for Angol.
Scared to sprint, too many touches, stupid simulation followed by petulance that cost us the game.

Lewis had a good game and Banks looked great first half. But dear me, they were trash. Harratt and Cook must come in. Hendrie too

Their is something peculiar about this football club and conceding very late goals, i never feel comfortable in situations like that with us. It may just be my perception, observer bias etc etc. I haven't checked official statistics, but I am nontheless convinced that we concede very late goals at a disproportionate level and have done for quite some time.

    Thoughts on that...

Draw would have been a fair result - not a huge amount of quality from either side.
We are too slow to get the ball forward.
Full backs are ok defensively (?) but don't have enough threat going forward to worry the opposition.
The tackle on Angol is free kick anywhere else on the pitch.
The free kick given for their winner highlights the point above.
We cannot give away goals in injury time like we do.
We are 4 games in so please don't all lose your shnizzle on here, its a long season - leave it for another week!

If he's played as a lone striker with runners in and around him, I think he's a threat. But playing him on the left doesn't work. And doing it when Oliver is up front is madness. Oliver looks poor, but he's clearly a target man. Why sign him to play as a lone striker in a team that doesn't have any directness about it?

Angol has a mare tonight. Hardly passed to Ridehalgh who was overlapping nearly every time. Should have shot instead dived and gives away cheap free kicks.

Too slow in our build up play. When we did Twit the ball into the box we caused problems-only issue was we hardly did that all night.

Cook has to start as well as Harratt at the weekend. Looked much more lively when they came on.

The conundrum of that front four. Back four looks solid most of the time and the central two show promise at times. But as an attack we look all.iver the place, we simply cannot start without Cook. Oliver hasn't fit at all and Angol is useless unless played upfront. I hope Chapman isn't a one good game in 4/5 type player because we need him to step up to the plate. Feels like two steps back after 2 good performances.

Was that good to watch @Onside@Onside?

Told everyone we really need to chill out when watching Bradford City. In recent years we haven’t earned the right to be cocky.

Regardless of the comedy penalty and the late free kick, Angol was just awful. He slowed down every attack we made through him. Absolutely no urgency, penetration or intent

A little dramatic. Poor outcome to the game and paid the price for a poor foul and poor defending from the free kick.

For me, there’s plenty in the squad to suggest we are considerably better than tonight but Hughes has got to find a way of quickly stepping it up a gear or three.

    Same Old City

Cannot see the game out but Hughes really needs to find a creative number 10 as relying on Walker and no-one else is a gamble that wont pay off.
Like Chapman/Banks/Young/Harriott and of course Cook but there is no end product and as plenty of you have said, painfully slow to watch.

    Still cannot defend free kicks,
    Sigh

No place in this team for Angol. He's lost everything he had before the injury and seems shite scared of doing anything overexcerting for fear of injury.

Not sure about Oliver. Looks like he could be the love child of Delfounso and Lavery.
