As a striker you should always back yourself to finish in a one on one, you're in control of the situation with the ball, given a choice I'd have backed Walker to score.

 

I think with game time he’d be an asset. His first game showed the gulf in class between himself and the other 19 outfield players.

Payne was on loan!!! He received the same amount despite the new arrangement. We just paid more of the cut. Made no difference to him. Only Huddersfield.

A difficult one for sure, on his debut he looked a cut above anything we have, and until his injury was looking decent, he certainly offered littler yesterday and as Sparkie said rather than an injury it was a tactical substitution,

 

He’s just not fired since Hughes took over has he. Cooke has been in good order since he got injured so there’s no place for him in the central role at the moment. Looks like it’ll have to be a case of competing with Vernam, Gillead and Pereira for the wide roles.

 

Much like Andy Cook, he looks unfit and overweight. He has hardly played all season, so i can accept not being match fit, but professional athletes even at our level should not carry extra weight, as they train full time.
I am very undecided with Walker, he really should have scored the one on one against Newport.

 

His family are in Scotland, think he'll want to stay there - with Hearts or another top sixer up in the Scot Premier. Like you, I'm not convinced - started well for us but ineffectual since his return from injury. I think MH will already made his mind up on Walker, which like most of the out of contract and loan players will be...thanks, but I'll pass.
