At the start of play the "Line Ups" tab on the match centre page had the following for City: 4-2-2-2. That just about sums up how disjointed and less-than-the-sum-of-our-parts we are. No real width, just a contest between 4 central midfielders to occupy the same space. It's changed now to 4-2-3-1.

DA will tell us that we had our chances on the break, end of the first half. We were so clearly 2nd best I'm surprised we managed even a shot on goal.

They say the definition of madness is doing the same thing time and again and expecting a different outcome. It's even more annoying to watch/listen to it as well though!!

Watching on IFollow and don’t see it as bad as some are saying on here. We’ve looked better than the dire performances of Carlisle, Walsall or Crawley.

There’s opportunities down the right via Sutton and Hendrie. Cook needs better service but also needs to be more smart. Daly needs to be more effective.

Get a goal back and we’ve shown enough to keep pushing them.

 

If only we had a winger though. The lack of natural width is depressing. All our players want to play in the middle 60% of the pitch.
