Scrappy but a win.What pleased me most was the two worldly saves from Bass and the amazing Foulds sliding front on block as he slid on his back using both feet to stop a possible goal. Hendrie was a great addition for me and looked confident.Just wish we didn't play ping pong in the middle so much, we need to spread play wide in my view more.

We have failed in this area during both windows and really hope this is our main focus in the summer, might be the one key area where we need to persuade Rupp to speculate that little bit more

Andy Cook was a decent signing. However, our record of signing any other decent strikers in the last few years is shocking.

Each window starts off with us being linked to a good striker or two, but we end up with last minute poor panic signings instead.

It is vital we get this right this summer if we are to stand a chance of getting promotion.

Look at FGR this season. They looked very average at VP earlier this season, however, they have 2 strikers in Matt and Stevens who have both been quite prolific this season.
