Guess so, the evidence is on the internet in black and white. I’ll take facts over word of mouth thank you.
Wouldn’t be the first thing he’s promised that’s not happened.

This thread has some wonderful narratives dependant on the agenda of the poster. Been an interesting read. My narrative? Since the two Germans have been in control I've seen my club change from a place where it felt proud to be a fan again to one one where I've seen most of the worst football in my 40 years of support. A club which has lost its soul again.

Thanks Stefan, no really, i can't thank you enough.

How some of you can call your selves supporters, is beyond me. If Adams had worked out, and the jury is still out, you would have said Ryan was brilliant, and what a great move he made bringing Adams in. The fact it hasn't gone to plan so far, isn't Ryan's fault, so get off his back. As a previous posted mentioned, i remember when the fourth div was the norm, in a fairly run down ground. Do we only have big crowds because the season tickets are cheap. As good a scheme as the cheap tickets are, it does restrict what the club can do financially. Even with the cheap tickets, we have one of the biggest player budgets i believe. So when people say there is no investment in the club, that may be right. The big budget has been brought to fruition by Ryan. The fact the players haven't worked, isn't his fault. So before you go on your crusade, be careful what you wish for. The history of football is littered with stories of those who know best, without knowing the facts

Be careful what you wish for? Behave yourself. I certainly didn't wish for what we have now.

Does it really matter what the club say with regards the attendance on the day the vast majority is already in the coffer apart from the POTD fans.

Feck me you won't let it go will you. Perhaps it will come out that RS is being economical with the truth? I suppose strictly speaking SR isn't taking money out of the club, as in a direct payment or a dividend. So in that respect RS isn't lying...

Park you went from asking to see this so called money, when you were shown it you said Rahic probably owns it, when you were proved wrong again one you just flat out deny fact and take someone’s word over what is in black and white. Get a grip, you’re either a WUM or completely deluded you constantly defend the indefensible and go against fans with genuine concern about where the club is heading.

No and I didn’t say it did, but it might matter next season as it shows a trend of what fans think.

You simply make things up. I guess you're basing your obvious 'facts' solely on the use of the initials ER!

Let's take a step back. The holding company was not 'obviously set up' by Rahic. ER Sportsgroup was originally setup as a vehicle for R&R to buy the club. It was majority owned 77.5% by Rupp and 22.5% by Rahic but since 2018 has been wholly owned 100% by Rupp. Originally, it was almost entirely funded by another company (which also happens to include the initials ER!) - ER Investment Gmbh which has always been 100% owned by Rupp. That's Rupp's principal investment veheicle for some of his own funds and for example, and very importantly, is due an annual return from ER Sportsgroup ftom its investment in the club. Rupp has several other companies including ER Immobolien (involved in his racing car ventures) and ER Projektmanagement which share the same initials.

Are you suggesting that simply because these other businesses also have the initials ER, they are somehow a front for Rahic? The notion that the ER in these (Rupp's) company names relates to Rahic is a myth.

Simply but perfectly put, for dividing the club alone Rupp needs to leave.

I didn’t want Adams to go until recently, it wasn’t even the rubbish football that made my mind up its the divisiveness of the man. To have a club I enjoy going to I want everyone pulling in the same direction, we had plenty of crap football under Parky but it was us against the world, style of play is the least of my worries with this club.

I am trying to reconcile the fact that according to the CEO the owner is not drawing money and if he was he wouldn’t be here. The ER holding company was set up in 2015 well before the takeover. Happened

It actually is Ryan's fault, and it's not a massive surprise that it's not worked out.

Yes, a lot of people were happy with the appointment, but the majority of people look at a manager's record and nothing else because they have lives to live and aren't in the business of looking in-depth at appointees.

Ryan isn't in that bracket, and should have known better.

Derek Adams made no sense as a successor to McCall/Trueman & Sellars. He was always a defensive-minded manager, always surrendered possession, and always preferred direct football with the onus on getting shots off regardless of the quality of the chances created. In order for him to have the best chance to succeed, he'd follow someone like Parky.

Ryan made the call to appoint him anyway because he could work to a budget and provide results. He's gone out and signed cheap, and rather than unearth a string of players who needed an opportunity and were prepared to grasp it with both hands, we've got a squad of players who have justified their price tags and lack of interest from elsewhere by, ultimately, being incapable of winning football games and killing opponents off.

All of this was a distinct possibility from day one, and it's Ryan's responsibility that it's played out the way it has.

You really believe that Ryan has no responsibility for the failure of the players?

Did you feel the same way about Edin, or was it Edin's disposition that justified his sacking?

Ryan's a great guy, but this feels like a double standard. Ryan and Derek liaise all the time, they've both said so, so we can't just pretend Adams is 'on one' and just doing whatever he likes.

The simple truth is that the club is barely functioning as a football club, mainly, in my view, because neither Rupp or Sparks know anything about the football side of things. We make the same mistakes time and time again. This is now exacerbated by the terrible failing of the team on the pitch and the increasing disillusionment of the fans. It's a perfect storm, and if nothing changes there'll be a pretty big reduction in season ticket renewal, a consequent reduction in the money available and further decline. It doesn't take a genius to see this. We're failing in every possible way and, if something substantial doesn't materialise, sooner or later we'll be in the national league with oblivion beckoning.

It's very easy to reconcile the apparent contradiction if you take Sparks' reply to the original question in a literal way. Somebody else has already put his finger on this. I doubt very much that Rupp is taking money directly out of Bradford City in a swag bag! But his reply doesn't give a complete picture and in fairness to him, he may not know all of the details. He isn't a director of Bradford City Football Club and isn't a director of the club's holding company BC Bantams and may not therefore be privy to transactions between those two companies and the ultimate holding company. But money (€300k or so) is finding its way into the accounts of the German holding company, ER Sportsgroup and its only source of these funds can be its one and only investment - City.

At the risk of repeating myself once again, if the club produced full accounts for those two companies, particularly including what are known as Related Transactions with the owner's other companies, then everything would be much clearer for all to see.

It’s funny how Rahic was blamed for every single defeat near the end of his tenure, now those who carry the same responsibilities are blameless to some. Rahic was terrible for the club, doesn’t mean because the next guy called him out on it that he’s automatically good for the club and faultless. As you say a club needs an on and off the field identity, this isn’t the 70s with Nigel Clough inviting agents into his office, hiding behind the door and tripping them up with tennis rackets then writing out a blank cheque. Successful clubs are run different these days. Klopp and Pep don’t have the power at their clubs Adams does here! Crazy.

How do you know an Associate Director didn't have a one to one meeting with Stefan ?.
