Be great to hear from Stefan Rupp or Ryan Sparks tomorrow. Ryan seems to have gone into hiding.

 

It’s important you mention them two as they’re more important than Adams in this thread. McCall mark 2 was sacked roughly 4 years ago now, since then we’ve had a further 9 managers let that sink in. Who’s trusts these two to get the next appointment correct? Oh and they’ll have to rebuild from scratch the off field football department as Sparks allowed him to dismantle what, granted little and crap, we had built up.

Ryan is taking a battering on social media. He needs to act as he is just damaging himself.

He needs to speak up. Highlighting he can’t handle pressure.

 

I meant the damage to Sparks etc versus the cost of sacking Adams. I agree that the low league finish isn’t a good look.

 

Sparks is starting to really damage himself. Think he needs to quickly highlight he can overcome this.

 

He needs to distance himself from Adams who after all is his employee who is not performing

 

A manager, or a player, has a fixed term contract. They will be paid to the end of that contract if they leave or the difference paid if a player takes a lower paid job. Their job is to play or manage, even if they are doing it badly they are still doing that job. They effectively have a notice period to the end of their contract.
My job has a 6m notice period, plus a restriction on who and where and I can work after leaving if they want me to leave because I am underperforming they have to pay me that plus a figure recognition of the X years service. There is little than can’t be solved with a big enough cheque.

The only way to get someone out for free is gross misconduct and you need plenty of evidence for that .

I'm with you regarding Herr Rupp talk about a sleeping partner, he was quick enough to dispell the WAGMI situation, Covid is no long an excuse come on Stefan give us some leadership.

 

I'm not sure he can do that @trevor, as Rupp is never heard from there are only two people who could offer what the fans want to hear, Adams basically makes the same comments every post match interview, and as many have pointed out apart from the forum the other week we've heard little from Ryan, he has to take the good with the bad and at least be honest with the fans, we all have our own take on things Bradford City but we're not fools.

That’s because he’s not too big for us, some overrate him on here because of a decent game against us. But like Adams seems to perform where expectations are lower. He’ll be a better fit there than he would here.

 

Exactly. There has been suggestions that his wife will not uproot from South Wales anymore. I think he has been waiting for Barton to be sacked at Bristol. Although Walsall still a bit of a trek daily, its nearer than Bradford.

Anyhow, cannot see a vacancy with us anytime soon
