Same happened to me with Chelsea tickets. I got one in my basket but couldn't get another as I had bought the Millwall replay tickets and my mate didn't have proof he had one. I took the valiant decision to not go because I think more of our friendship than I do of attending the match of the decade.

You joke but there are a few down there bulk buying for tens of people who run coaches. And no doubt they will be posting their pictures of 30+ tickets on facebook just after 12 noon.

 

Well the club shouldn’t be allowing that! Hypothetically 1 person could buy all 500 tickets if can show all for priority members. I do despair with decisions made on tickets sales but hey ho what can you do?

 

How many are there? Would seem pointless if not in first 5 in queue. But then again you just know there’ll be a staff member walking down the queue asking how many tickets people are getting and then putting them to one side so they can’t be sold online in first few minutes

 

We are a shite lower mid table league two team, chances are that the manager will play some strange formation with 10 of the 11 players out of position and our goalie will drop two in his own net. Why the mad desire to go see us play in Harrogate ?

Maybe because it’s 15 miles away, we haven’t played them in the league before with fans allowed and for some fans it’ll probably be a new ground to visit.
On top of that, we do have some fairly loyal supporters who aren’t fickle and will follow the team no matter what.

Consider me silenced until the Sutton game although unless there’s anything riding on it I don’t think there’ll be a problem.

 

I’ve seen the meltdown on Twitter over Harrogate tickets and this confirms my original thoughts that the website simply cannot be trusted to be fair.
Going to the ticket office in person is the only guarantee you have of getting a ticket in these circumstances.
Relying on getting online in time is a gamble

 

Totally agree in cases like this where supply is far short of demand. Other times its fine, but you can't operate a dual selling policy with only 700 tickets and where it just takes virgin to blob in your area to lose out.

 

Did you pick yours up from the ticket office?
Did they do a cut off for people at the ticket office because I doubt they would have even started logging the first sale at the time the website was showing as sold out.

 

Bit of a farce to be honest ….I have a priority away card and was unable to get to Vp this morning. Logged on at 11.45 got the tickets in my basket but I could nt pay …. I refreshed and it said sold out …..@12.01.I have attended every away league game so far this season ….my plan was to do em all but that ain’t happening now. Although Im disappointed I accept the situation. Maybe loyalty points should have been taken into consideration , and I would have got one HaHa.
No point moaning ……..what I will say is there’s plenty available for tomorrow night ……but how many will be there ¿……I know I willl ….. Up the chickens
