    I brought this up some time ago but got pretty negative responses. Some along the lines of 'Bradford is too poor to pay increased prices'

    The latest offer is very reasonable imo especially when VP will be only around two-thirds full in the home end if every ST holder turns up. The club has rightly to find a way to get more fans (and more money) into VP to fill those empty seats and I suspect at the 'full' price of £299 that wouldn't have been an easy one. But even at the new deal, the club still has to demonstrate its commitment by improving the quality of the squad.

    Agreed. Bradford footballing public shows its commitment and the board then delivers its side of the bargain by using the additional revenue on building the club.

    Plus all the 900 25 year tickets were counted as well as donated ones - the whole thrust was to get the maximum number on paper.

    I'm not sure how many people who were "meh" 6 weeks ago.would suddenly flock to buy one at £70 more though.?

    It's been a long, hot couple of weeks of World Cup dreams - if the football bug bites, it doesn't really matter what the state of play is... does it?

    Imagine getting the football bug from what has been a fantastic world cup and buying a Bradford City season ticket on the back of it. I can imagine the advertising campaign in a few years time, "Were you sold a Bradford City season ticket on the back of the 2018 world cup? Then Direct Redress can get you a full refund if you were sold a ticket against the trades description act."

    I go along with that, if 4000 decided not to go at £169 what has happened since to make them want to go at £230? Still, I like that the club is doing something rather than nothing.
