It was unfair to put him in a position where piecemeal sponsors and stadium upgrades don't matter, because that's his level and he's fine at it. To assume he can run a club is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.

There was no fight first half. Adams hasn't made a blind bit of difference so far and this is a new low this season. To not bring Sutton on when Watt was having the worst game of the season makes Adams look very incompetent.

To be fair, people always had a go at McCall for being too soft on his players and for taking too much responsibility for poor performances rather than blaming the players. Now we have a manager who blames his players and people complain he's too cold and impersonal.

We're no better than we were under Truman & Sellars, we're marginally better than we were under McCall, I don't think it is down to the managers personality, I just don't think we have invested in the team and signed the right quality of players.

 

I heard no pride and passion from Adams and we saw little on the pitch either.We need battling qualities but poor as we are,I can't help feeling dismay at the way our players are coached.Something not right with our performance regime in my view.

Apart from the abysmal lack of effort and ability from the players, we play a formation which just doesn't suit them. And even within that we have a player in Gilliead who is never seen wide on the right where he's supposed to be. There's a gaping hole there every game which the opposition usually exploit. Gilliead just wanders about where he likes usually getting in other people's way. Not that the rest of our midfield seem to have a clue how or where they're supposed to play. The chaotic lack of structure and pattern is repeated every week. And we have no pace whatsoever and hardly ever threaten to score. It's just so utterly depressing how bad we've become. Not one player seemed to give a damn today. And as for the manager, he seems to exist in a parallel universe where all is sweetness and light. If this continues for much longer I shudder to think what the season ticket renewal will be.
