I don't mind fund raising for certain things but asking fans to raise money for basic hygiene necessities during a global health crisis is unacceptable.

 

They usually do. But, as @Bigrod said, you have to try to bust your way through the queue, in a narrow corridor, to get to them. At busy periods like half time it makes them virtually inaccessible.

 

So the issue isn't them not working? Sorry got wrong end of the stick. Thought people were complaining about them being broken

 

I think some people are saying that in other parts of the ground they don't work.
At busy periods the ones in the main stand loo might as well not be there, because you can't get to them. They are very badly sited.

 

You call that inaccessible? Try going to a champions league / europa league game in Europe, it’s literally impossible to get out of the stand for any reason throughout the game and half time, such is how cramped it is shoulder to shoulder and stairways are fully blocked.

I’ve seen people pissing in cups in view of the pitch.

Quite often police and stewards don’t even let people out for the toilet in the ‘ultras’ sections. I’ve seen that at Ferencvaros, Red Star Belgrade, Legia Warsaw, Sparta Prague to name a few.

You’ve got it easy if you want to nip to the toilet over here.

 

So what? Just because some other countries still treat football fans like animals doesn't mean that we should. Having hot water, soap and a means of drying your hands - that you can actually access without barging through a queue - shouldn't be too much to ask for in the 21st century.

 

I was merely ridiculing your hilarious comment of our toilets being ‘inaccessible’

 

So in summary, we have one broken hand dryer and a few that are hard to get to, but its been deemed a major issue by the people who claim to hold the club to account. Ie the little fiefdom that is the supporters board.

Fact is too many people use the toilets at the same time to make having dryers practical. People don't use them because they don't want to queue. On that basis I can't see why mending the broken one is a priority

Usually like your posts, General, but possibly the “Old Crow” is talking. As I read it this question was submitted by a supporter, nothing to do with any fiefdom and the subject of the meeting was to put questions to the CEO submitted by supporters…..

 

I think the thing is, it seems such a trivial question it might lead someone to believe the questions were cherry picked. Although I grant you the question about the extra funds from ST sales was a good un.

 

Thanks, my understanding is that all the questions submitted were asked.
