Yet both have been out injured for weeks, when Angol & Cook have partnered each other we've drawn the one game against Exeter and won the other games, I'm sure if they had not picked up their relevant injuries we would have accumulated far more points than we have now.
Adams said signing the likes of Angol, Cook & Cavana with their past injuries was a risk and believe the signings of Lavery & Robinson were in desperation.
Let's hope both Angol & Cook can stay injury free and get us a play off place or better.

Not sure Adams would favour 4 dozen up front but I reckon 2 might just do more than 2 of our current squad.

I used to be a member of the Supporters Board (not to be confused with the Supporters Trust) several years ago, initially when DB was COO (he invited me to join it) and then for a while when Mason came on board. To begin with, DB used it as a sounding board of what needed doing at the club on many fronts although most stuff on the playing front was formally off limits.

DB still used the SB to test the water on what needed doing informally and shared some stuff on the club's finances off the record and under an NDA. When he left, it started to go downhill and continued as its role was reduced. JM didn't understand how it could be used tyo benefit the club especilly after ML made it clear to a couple of us that he saw no purpose for it! Mason was scared of his own shadow and wouldn't question ML. It was JR who saw it as a way of checking views on ticket prices but even that was more a case of him explaining the merits of his cheap ticketing policy. Its influence declined swiftly.

A few of the more business orientated on the SB quickly realised that the SB was past its sell-by date and we all stepped down. It developed more into a glorified travel and fundraising group and any residual influence it had on the club's operations disappeared. Imo, it's been withering on the vine ever since.

These type of questions are exactly what I’d like to be reading, not about flipping hand driers. just shows exactly what we have become, an appeased club. Mote hot air talked about at point less meetings than out of something that is supposed to give hot air.

Supporters board tend to not rock the boat i mean if there bothered about dry hands then that sums them up .............. let’s be right it probably fits perfectly for Sparkes rather than having questions that will put him on the spot he only has to worry about questions regarding dry hands

I'm never sure what the importance of a supporters board is, I'll be honest if I was that desperate for a question to be answered I'd ring the club myself or email the club or Sparks. Most of the names I see on the list of board members are pro club anyway and live to feel like they are important. The more I read the minutes of the meetings the more it just seems like an hour long coffee and chat.

    His return is poor.

In fairness, stats do make a valid point. 31 appearances and no goals since 2016 doesn't make great reading. There were many on here, who said Lavery, Robinson, Kelleher and Threkheld weren't very good before seeing them play, and I think they have been proved correct. Angol probably the one most of us got wrong, as he's turned out better than expected (but his injury record does tie up with the historical numbers).

He's only 22 years old and most of his games have been played in the MLS. He might be a prospect, but a prospect isn't what we need right now.

100%. We seem to have a habit of doing this. Buying prospects and back ups when what we actually need are first team players.
