Well that was fun! Defensively the are packing it and hoping for the best. This is the sort of game where Cook would shine.

 

Robinson gets in the way of Songo for the header and then fails to leave the ball for Angol. We are going to lose this 0-1

Good start I thought.

First 20 minutes we were pressing and pushing and looking dangerous. They tried to slow things down and take the sting out. We seemed to take our foot off a bit then. Few decent chances but nothing clear cut.

They play pretty football but haven't created many/any chances really.

We have enough to win and should win if we play like the first half.

 

We get a really decent number 9 we would be 3-0.

nice to be back at the ground though!

 

We are looking good against a very poor Colchester side.

 

Imagine then being annoyed when no one takes your opinion seriously

We are absolutely bang average mid table, mediocrity. Sounds quiet in the ground too.

How we playing please?, listening on the radio on way home from work, doesn't sound great

 

A good first 10 mins with a few chances, then it’s turned turgid, very scrappy.

 

We were decent first 20-30 mins. Second half we offered little and look out of ideas when going forward.

 

This game cements us as a bottom half side if we don't win - I'm predicting 16th. Not angry about it as with the poor recruitment it isn't a big shock. Hornby looks good!
