I'd say no. We've done nothing wrong - in fact, whatever we've taken in gate receipts will be minimal in relation to the possible impact of injuries, suspension, fatigue. We have a tough game on Saturday against Northampton. We could've had a free week, rest people where needed, avoid travel, several days worth of training to prep for that game thoroughly. All down the tube.

We took Curtis Goode on loan from Newcastle who gave consent for him to play against Brentford which he did. We drew 1-1 at VP. As far as I remember Brentford queried his qualifications to play. The FA noted whilst we had done the applicable paperwork Newcastle had not despite saying they had. The FA threw us out but David Baldwin lodged a successful appeal on the basis we had it from Newcastle they had done their part and the FA said we were entitled to trust what we had been told thus could not be blamed. Reinstated but lost 4-2 I think.

 

just seen this news. FA completely f***ing up again.
I don't think either team wants a replay, especially us with the long trip , chance of injuries and suspensions , plus player fatigue.
I would tell them to do one and let Exeter play Cambridge in round 2. Extra games we can well do without.
I know we have the chance of extra finance , but we will probably lose the replay, replay.

 

Because you were treated differently by the officials. Hence they are responsible and the FA clearly agree with me as they haven't booted us out. They allowed ours and prevented yours. It's not rocket science who's at fault

 

Just out of interest has our CEO commented on this, checked his twitter page and unless I am mistaken no comment since 1st November!

As a neutral in all this I can honestly say that the FA has made an absolutely appalling decision. Exeter should have been kicked out of the competition and most Cambridge fans on the forum I'm on agree with that view. You have every right to feel aggrieved...hopefully Adams can use it as motivation for the replay of the replay.
