The points system means you get 2 points for winning , there's also an aggregate score for weight , 4lbs won the last match . I've purchased a 4m elasticated " margin whip " it's brilliant for the weedy margins and shallow pegs .

 

Sounds good, proper tactics - speed fishing for bits on the inside and then getting bonus fish on other lines. Do you feed an inside line for bigger fish, later on?

a lad i know in Portree AA found a japanese style telescopic tenkara fly rod someone had dropped on one of the beats on the snizort. No one came forward for it so gave it to me for the kids, it’s kind of like whip fishing, but with an upstream dry fly or nymph. Should be good fun with these small burn brown trout. Might let them have a shot …,,

 

I fish and feed at 13m - 6 m and 4m , i caught the largest F1 under my feet . getting used to this pole lark now .
