    Who went to Odsal when we lost 0-5 to Forest when they were still a major force?

    Supposedly about 15k in the ground, it was more like 25k.

    Ah yes I was there great night apart from the result
    Remember getting into the ground just before half time queues were horrendous at the turnstiles
    Only good thing was I was in a group and we all took turns in getting "refreshments" from the Top House pub whilst not losing our place in the queue Forest brought a good third of the crowd which I agree was well over the 15k mark

    I was served some Sourdough toast in small casserole dish a few weeks ago, the edges were too high to get the right angle for buttering. Loada bollox.

    Yeah. We missed the start as well. Ended up standing on some of the grassy banking. Could see knack all, but it was a terrific night. Had a wimpy in town first. Too young for beer back then...

    Not in 1986. 6 or 7 years earlier definitely.I was a responsible adult by 86.Don’t think I paid for entry at Odsal for about 5 years.The only downside was having to venture over the tip to get to the easier access points.

    That sums it up perfectly.I don’t know anybody who got in on time or had a decent view.I vaguely remember having a view of about a third of the pitch at the cricket ground end.
