I dunno, £2000 seems a lot but for someone who absolutely will go to all 46 games and needs a coach ticket for away games I think it’s probably good value

First in the queue doesn't work anymore since the advent of selling tickets online, it is just luck of trying to connect just at the exact time the website starts selling

So my solution for next season would be this.

priority away card replaced with a home and away season ticket priced at £999.
This would offer the highest priority and generates additional income to the club of around £200 based on average away tickets being £25

The points system then comes into play as the next priority.
This should ensure that regular travellers are able to get a ticket.

    then season ticket holders

    then general sale

What a nonsence post, I've not seen posters making your claim "some on here that would prefer neither and think the fairest way is to be first in the queue".
You claim they were sold before many fans got chance to buy yet I posted evidence that was not the case, the club announced on 3rd July they would be going on sale on the 8th July and they were all sold by 12th July, you got one so what's your problem.
We'll never know what % of fans buy a priority card and don't attend games as you claim I'd say they attend games but not as many as others and certainly not as may as @Loyalbantam@Loyalbantam, again they have done nothing wrong in taking up the offer from the club.
Loyalty points will be implemented next season and it will give those who have attended more away games first dibs which has never been an issue to most Bradford City fans as the priority card wasn't to most Bradford City fans

Who in their right mind would pay up front for a full season of away games with no refund for games they couldn't attend.
The situation might not be the fans fault ie postponed Saturday games and replayed midweek, a fixture has to be rescheduled because the FA Cup takes presidence, you'd think Posh have done their homework before making the offer but as you say it would be interesting to see the figures.

Like I said, I would expect an extremely low take up on that offer. Especially if it's the price quoted, which equated to £34 per match.

The priority arrangement is needed for a handful of games at best, if you want a ticket to 95% of games this season you will probably get one without issue.

Some games will sell out, but if you act quick enough you will secure tickets.

I see Harrogate as the game with the highest take up due to it being so easy to access and in a small ground.

Sutton will only become difficult if we are in the mix, otherwise the distance will put some off.

We only need priority once in a blue moon, so when that blue moon comes around, those who have built up points will be fine, infact many who only have a handful of away games to their name will see themselves handily placed for tickets as our average away following over an entire season is probably around 1,000 (stats from 19/20 season until suspension)

Have they said how long points are valid for in the new scheme? Eg do they only last 12 months and then drop off or do they stay for ever so in 10 years time those old enough to travel now will be at an advantage?

I don't think that has been made clear, however if you follow us round the khazi league, you would hope it counts for something should we end up in say the championship in a number of years.

but it gives an advantage to the older fans. I think England used to have never ending points but have changed it now due to an aging travelling fan base

If a home game gets postponed I wouldn't be trailing miles midweek to watch the rescheduled fixture.

Lightweight :D got there at 5.30 pm, got the Mrs to bring me a fold up chair, also slept at the ground( me, not the Mrs), getting tickets fairly early on, to be honest I was a bit miffed that I had to apply for a priority card this time :sob:

I really don't know why the club can't use the existing technology, if you go on your purchase history the record of all away tickets bought is there for about the last ten years!
I've been to the vast majority of the away games since the 70s and I've never not got a ticket for a game I wanted to go to, although I have had a Priority card since there inception to avoid queuing all night in the snow for (Chelsea!) tickets.

Just to add to the above:

Once you've logged into the ticket site, click on where it says 'Hello' followed by your name and membership number, it should take you to the 'My Account' page. Look down that page and 'Your Loyalty Points' should be somewhere down the bottom of that page.
