    That was a very good interview with Sparks. I know he's naturally a very confident and enthusiastic person but it looks to me that his plan for the club is gradually taking shape. The pieces are being put in place and it all sounds hopeful for the future. I think he is being realistic about the situation and doesn't seem to be under estimating the challenges at VP. There's clearly more to be done but it sounded to me that he knows what is needed and has a way of making it happen. I'd still like him to be more forthcoming in what his plans are and to share those plans with the fans.

    If the playing side delivers the goods as we'd all like which will be the acid test, I feel confident for the future of our club.

    The massive difference is that for the first time in nearly two decades, we have someone speaking to the press and supporters, on behalf of the club (rather than solely the team), who is both articulate and coherent. He doesn’t avoid speaking publicly, and embraces the opportunity. I think Ryan has a holistic view, and sees progress as being something which has to be achieved in a number of areas. Quite frankly he deserves our support. No he himself doesn’t have ‘money’, but he has developed a great understanding of how to move this club forward.

    I think Sparks is a good fit. He's doing a good job and needs to be given our support and patience to put his plan into full action.
