Exactly, I really feel sorry for Collins. Talk about throwing someone in at the deep end. When this inevitably goes belly up, VP will be so toxic, Collins will get sacked and he won't wanna be in charge anywhere ever again it'll totally put him off for life. He's the fall guy, the patzi in all this while Edin's the puppet master pulling all the strings pissin everyone off.

Listen to his interviews almost since he started playing he wanted to get into coaching and management so he got what he wanted.

 

I wish the new coaching team every success and hope it works. However there is more to management/coaching than sitting courses, doing exercises and training young players. They need to develop personnel skills to deal with senior players who may have non football problems. They require motivational skills.

Just looked at some information regarding UEFA A licence- in 2009 Gareth Southgate obtained his alongside Dave Hockaday.

Presumably Colin Doyle and Matt Kilgallon have just started on the path to becoming coaches.

Of course he wanted to be into coaching, loads of footballers do. Yet he wanted the Bradford job so much he didn't actually apply for it? Wise up man. I wish him success in the role but Rahic has not employed Collins because he is the best available, he's employed him because he fits the mould Rahic wanted, cheap and will do what he's told.
