The man who knows nothing about football and shows very little interest in it? I don't necessarily disagree that it should be Rupp, but why do you think he would make a better choice than Sparks?

 

Well that's a whole can of worms, isn't it?

If you can't trust Rupp to appoint a DoF, how can you trust him to appoint a good CEO?
Let's hope Rhodes wasn't the driving force in the appointment of Sparks given his history in terms of appointments. The only time he ever got it right, Lawn was co-owner.
A DoF in my view would be on equal footing with the CEO - so why would the CEO be making that appointment?
If the DoF answers to the CEO, there's literally no reason to make the appointment. We might as well just assume Sparks, who has never played football, has worked in football for a grand total of 3 years, has never coached football at a professional level, has never worked with professional footballers before 2018 in any capacity whatsoever, KNOWS his football.

Let's be real: Ryan Sparks' resume and level of professional expertise is less convincing than Edin Rahic's in real terms.

Yeah, I'd definitely take the appointment of a DoF out of his hands, and leave it in Rupp's - who can put his hand in his pocket and pay for advice and counsel from experts within the game to ensure he makes a sound appointment.

I really don't think it's rocket science.

 

Pressure is on Sparks. Makes a third balls up appointing a manager and he'll be heading for deputy store manager at Lidl very quickly. I hope he get's it right this time. The future of this club is at stake.

I imagine fans across the country are shouting the same thing. Absolutely delighted for Leicester, great club.

 

Have to say those scenes at the end were as emotional watching another club as I have ever felt - we can only dream of being able to enjoy such feelings

I never in my wildest dreams,stood at the back of the Bradford end in the 60& 70s, I would see us at Wembley and in the Prem.

Liverpool at home , to stay up , wow that was something too.

 

Needs a once in a lifetime owner to be able to hand you the dream and thats what Richmond was. Did exactly what he said he was going to do until it went tits up. There will never be a ride like it again as a city fan.
