I started writing before KO that I like O’Donnell as a character but think we look much more organised with Hornby. Since OD has come back in that’s only confirmed that. Sorry, but poor decision from T&S to drop Hornby IMO - I’d like to understand from them their reason for this.

 

The squad is light years ahead of what we had in October and feel a bit for McCall he was short changed with that squad. I am not saying he was a good manager but we had a truly awful set of players.


As for now we don’t look fit tonight to me. I don’t know if it’s lack of effort but that second goal was just bad all round players jogging back. Poor.
AOC was it beaten on back post easily. I hope we cut our losses with him in the summer.

I still think central midfield is our biggest issue however. Watt is nice on the ball when we are playing well but when the chips are down he looks lost. Sutton is not a central midfielder in all my born days. Just don’t see it. Just a runner

Disappointed how much weve struggled without cooke.

 

Our incredible run of form was just that - incredible - but seems to have been hugely rooted in confidence/mentality. Now heads have dropped, and defeats have begun mounting up, they don’t look the same team at all. That can’t all be down to missing Cooke.

Over-reliance on confidence and momentum is fine when you’re winning... but it’s not easy to get a squad like that out of a bad patch.

 

Exactly and now we’re stuck with rookie managers for the whole of next season who will crumble once the crowds get on their back

 

It’s not like city to offer contracts out and then have to backtrack after

 

Hornby was dropped due to lack of communication,well there did not seem to be much communication there.

 

Honeymoon period well and truly over now for Trueman and Sellars, all seems to have gone wrong since they were appointed permanent managers.

Another summer rebuild I am afraid, if we are to mount a serious promotion challenge next season.

The performances aren't that different. The fine margins are just going the other way.

If I'm honest, T&S seem very similar to Bowyer in style.

 

I’ve seen enough. Amazing start lads, you really lifted us. But I’ve seen enough now to know it was a fluke, take us to the end of the season. Kept us up, great achievement.
Next season back to the youth team and make way to a high calibre proposition....... Graham Alexander, Richie Wellens.... yes please.
City fans fed up of ‘tread watering’, we can’t stomach another season tread watering in L2. Poor.

 

I always said O’donnell is a dodgy keeper both goals he should have stopped... bring back hornby.

Ive lost count the amount of points O’Donnell has cost us... worst keeper we’ve had for a while

 

Watt is just too slow, when the chips are down and facing a physical midfield he offers nothing and ends up chasing shadows and panicking and giving the ball away.
