In terms of rest, after Carlisle next week City have a full week without a game. An important week for T&S to manage niggles, fatigue and conditioning.

 

Thats not a rest, thats dropping him because he's had one quiet game. He isn't suffering from being tired.

Jeez guys what is it like on here when you concede in injury time ?
The two form teams in the league drew a tight game. Still both top of form league btw. All today showed is that we are both capable of pushing on for at least a play off spot. We scored a late winner last Saturday and just like this site we had people bemoaning the win, because we scored late ! Yes I thought we were the better team but successful teams get points out of games when they are not on top.
The commentator on I follow said earlier in the season we were in 19th and 21st respectively.
Both clubs have had troubled times so even having a club is a plus, but to a competitive team with managers trying to play the right way and players committed to the cause as shown by a 93rd minute equaliser is something to enjoy. A few on here ( not all and not most) need to give their heads a shake

 

Cooke has had more than one quiet game recently. He looked tired today, hence why our midfield was over run. He needs a rest as he has more yards in him than Wood has on the ball.

I don't think it was his problem really. Bolton had a good midfield and it was pretty even. It was out wide they "out pointed" us.

One reflection I had was that we didn't shoot enough when we were round the box. If Rowe had been on we'd have had more shots first half.

 

I met him once. Was friendly enough.

 

I agree and I spent a lot of last week saying Rowe should have kept his place. But I thought Cook did well in a difficult task today

 

One quiet game and people want him dropped. A very strange logic. Lets stop this idea that he's tired because i can tell you thats not correct.

 

Spot on.... I guessed they had played a “game” with monies. They were better in a lot of depts, for sure, but got lucky through Doyle’s attempt. I though Cook at a better game for us than Doyle did for them. However clear some CC wages being paid there.

Happy not to lose and we won’t come up against anyone better for sure!

 

I would have looked even better whilst sitting in a full Kop! The place would have gone loopy Tony!

You should be proud you guys came to VP and played like promotion contenders. I do think both of us will go up automatically. I do hope I’m correct as VP would have been bouncing today and likewise at your ground. Loved going to the Macron as it was known at the time and i hope I get to go again next season!

No reason we cannot play both Cook and Rowe as twin strikers with Rowe on the left of the 3 in midfield along with Cooke in the middle and Crankshaw or Clarke on the right

 

His nonchalant attitude to scoring! How many strikers would have it row Z using their wrong foot?
