I think they will in time. They’ve probably only had 1 or 2 sessions together since he signed. Trouble is neither Cooke nor Clarke seem to be that far in advance of the one up top to tap in.

Future opposition will look at these games and see how to nulify us in future.

True in the long term but for now we need to keep picking up points where and when we can.

 

We have pretty much outplayed every team we have come up against since t and s took charge.
We can go down 2 paths.
The one of once we fully click we beat most teams or the one where we play pretty possession football, create chances but still don't have the players to stick the ball away.

I think the position we were in and to a certain degree still are it’s about getting points where we can. Then as we get better players we can be more expansive and a bit more open

 

I don't think we need to be more open - you could see the intent and control to our play on Saturday. We just need a bit more pace, composure and quality. Part of that can be worked on in training, part of it is why we're still looking to bring in another winger and striker. One thing we don't have, is an attacking player who can go past people with a bit of pace and trickery. We really need to address that.

 

I've no doubt we can out play Southend and cause them problems, but I'm not sure we will kill them off - I think we might score one. Will it be enough?

I don't think we should fear anyone - Saturday showed it. When we're on it, we're good enough for anyone in this league. That's not to say everything's rosy, because it isn't. We need a couple more this window and we'll need 3 or 4 out and in, in the summer if we're going to push for promotion next season. But we should going into every game with confidence at the minute. There's no one to fear in this league.

Can anyone see us Dropping Clarke or Cooke tomorrow and bringing in stevens and Burrell with Rowe playing the 10??

 

What concerns me about tomorrow is our record at roots Hall isn't good

Our home record against them isn't good either. The past counts for nothing.

 

In all the years I have watched City our record against Southend has always been bad, let's hope we can change that tomorrow. I think we can 2-1 City

 

I think we will win 2-0 or 3-0. The defence and parts of midfield pick themselves at moment and we are solid. The question is who do we play up front together and we should be able to experiment with Rowe, Clarke, Burrell and Stevens against the Southend defence. Would like to see Rowe, Stevens and Clarke to start.

 

I would keep the team that played so well on Saturday. With the options of change from the bench. I notice Sellars said they see Rowe as a number 9 which seems different to how he describes himself. So when Novak is fit it will be interesting how they fit him in
