For goodness sake, Fordy!! Instead of saying Cambridge were poor why not say they were only as good as they were allowed to be? Give it a try, it won't hurt.
There was an instant change, in attitude if nothing else at Crawley, mirrored today by the fact that 3 players given small chance of being fit for today actually were. That says a lot to me.
As for Cambridge it's a long time, actually never, that City have reduced opposition to making 4 subs because they couldn't get through us and more, the second game that a club's leading scorer hasn't had a kick.
Yes, a lot to do with others winning now but to me the Pritchard interview says a lot.

Perhaps so, and if that’s the case it puts some of the squad right back where I had them two weeks ago. However I don’t think we have a full squad of players with the luxury of being that arrogant. For me, it’s simplifying things and playing on the squads strengths which is the instant change. That said, they’ve also had the fortunate return of some better squad members. Novak makes a significant difference, on and off the ball, by far and away our best striker.

As well as battling in midfield, closing players down quickly, and willingness to run with the ball, this is now 2 matches in a row that Sutton has played defence splitting passes leaving Pritchard and Novak with only the keeper to beat. Both should have scored. 2 excellent performances lets hope he keeps it up

 

Agree. We are like a new team out there. Pritchards interview did say more than was actually said.

I agree with everything you are saying and yes you right it's clear they is a positive change in attitude.

I'm going to u-turn like Boris on this one and say that we were the better team and we made Cambridge look poor.

No one voted for Boris. People voted for their local MP. He was voted in by his mates in his party. Anyway, a discussion for another thread!

 

Really enjoyed that. Thought POC & Sutton were both superb. POC in particular seems to have really stepped up, seeing that leadership mentality that I thought he showed when he first came to city. Could see him taking the captains armband again at some point.

 

It saddens me deeply but I heard the interview and have to agree with this.
