well he is jobless and cheap, fits the bill. rather have mccann who is by far a less risk.

we could go down this season we need a proven manager for sure not a cheap one.

unless we are developing managers too.

I'd take that. At least he's got a couple of promotions on his CV.

Wouldn't have minded Ben Garner either. Looks a promising young coach with a good background.

If we get either of those two, I'll think 'it could have been a lot worse'.

 

and a relegation with livi, the bit i cant get is its a mickey mouse league under mccall and that was the premiership where he finished 3rd, 2nd and 2nd yet all of a sudden because you get promoted whilst playing the likes of morton and brechin city its deemed great as you got a promotion.

hells fire there is a massive difference up north once you go lower than the premiership, they play with crowds of 500, its lower than guiseley fc. The premiership is a total different animal north of the border.

hopkins might be a good appointment but its a MASSIVE gamble that we can not afford with our current form.

After parky, mccall then grayson it smacks of desperation and pound saving.

 

Tbf he put it right in style, with back to back promotions.

 

Do we know why he is leaving Livingstone?

 

His stock is high after back to back promotions. Probably thinks that this is a good time to try his luck down south.

Also, probably thinks it's going to be tough keeping Livingston up on a tiny budget.

McCann is by far more experienced and far less a gamble.

I don't know what the Mothwerwll budget was but I assume you mean McCall.

The Scottish leagues are Mickey Mouse. You can't really knock 2 promotions in his only job though. If he'd had 2 non-league promotions in 2 years it would have been a positive.

I'd rather have someone relatively unproven but with potential and a bit of success rather than just another name on the managerial merry-go-round who has achieved nothing at all.
