Every where I have been people ask me about the "world-renowned "Bradford Way"

Unfortunately is is generally a template for failure. Across the City, football and rugby clubs.

What we actually need to do is do it a different way. The 'Bradford Way' is clearly not working

 

And we lose the next generation of Bradford kids to the likes of Leeds,Liverpool and Man U.

I'm glad it is not just me.

Wherever I go in the world, when the border control worker see Bradford as the place of birth in my passport, they refuse to let me in until I have given them a detailed talk on the "Bradford Way".

 

When someone starts to works somewhere they don't expect them to pull up trees the first day they are there. Hell, it took me around 6 months to get fully into the swings of my job.

Sounds like on here a manager is given one transfer window and 10 matches. If we aren't in the top 3 off you go son.
managerial merry go rounds work at some where like watford as they have a DoF we don't.

Me too. Even venturing into Lancashire when my accent is detected I am overwhelmed with people begging me to impart the finer points of the "Bradford Way".

No, I just mentioned judging people by the job they are doing which is apparently weird. I'd want to see organisation and a proactive view to improving the squad - which is the opposite we have now.

 

"The Bradford Way" seems about as good as "The West Ham Way", but with amber rather than blue

 

Okay pal, what's your view? Let me guess. Rupp, Rhodes, McCall, and Sparks out. Clean slate, new manager and sign new players in the January window. Romp up the leagues. New owner with pots of cash and willing to splash it. Sign great players who find the onion bag all day long. Build a new stadium.

I'd love to see all that, but I don't think it's going to happen to Bradford City. So I'll look at what we are doing as a club and make my own assumptions.

well I called the McCall extension, just wrong about Rahic coming back and Killgallon being the the new defensive guru.

I am. The club is a joke.

Well the usual one is results but people seem to think that's unfair when Stuart is involved.

Looking like you're building a capable team seems like a good one to judge them on too. Apparently not.

 

It seems theres a discord between why the club is doing poor. Some think its down to stuart entirely. Some think its because of a poor recruitment strategy that has to change as soon as a new manager comes in.
I agree with city.
If he was a head coach during his stint id agree for him to go. And no im not saying he os faultless. I just dont think he deserves a sacking.

 

I was saying the same things while bowyer was here, I'll be saying the same about Stuarts replacement - if Stuart goes.

 

So your idea then is to never sack a manager regardless or results, performances or league position?

 

Not for us specifically right now no. Because as we have all seen over the past three years changing a manager does nothing for results. Got rid of stuart in the playoffs. ended 11th. Hopkin resigned because he knew he couldn't do anything. Bowyer comes in nothing changes we are relegated. We get rid of bowyer after a poor run of form. We finish 9th. Nothing. Changes.
